For our first Airbnb experience Casa Rurales managed by Paula was above and beyond what we would have imagined. Barco de Avila is a small, quaint town with the magic of its castle, river, and better yet, its people. Everyone seems to know everyone. As visitors, even with instructions, we got a little lost. We were helped by very nice locals & Paula welcomed us from the street. On the outside, Casa Rurales has a mixture of rustic with modern. Inside, while modern, it is homey, cozy, and spacious. As it was cool during our visit, Paula had a fire burning in the fireplace in the living room. She gave us a tour of the kitchen (fully stocked with everything to cook with, eat on, eat with), the interior yard (table, chairs, grill), and three rooms, each with their own bathroom. Paula also left us a list of places to visit and eat. Unfortunately, we were staying very little time. We look forward to our next visit, hopefully with more time. If available, we will stay here again in the future.

Patricia and Oscar were great hosts, very accommodating, helpful and friendly. We had a great star at their place, which was sparkling clean and beautiful. Definitely, we’ll come back.

Borja ist ein super lieber Mensch! Der schon vor der Tür auf uns gewartet hatte, und uns direkt seine Hilfe angeboten hat. Wenn ihr mal in der Nähe seit, schaut gerne vorbei, es ist wirklich mal etwas anderes! Nette Gassen, mit kleinen Läden, ein wenig Favela vibes! Aber echt nett! Vielen Dank Borja für deine Gastfreundschaft!

¡Nos ha encantado el apartamento! Todo genial, fuimos con nuestro perro. El apartamento era acogedor y precioso. Está en plena naturaleza. Me encantó despertarme en medio de tanto campo.

Estuvimos unos días descubriendo el Valle del Jerte en el apartamento de Esther. Es moderno y reformado con excelentes vistas como aparece en la descripcion y fotografías. Echamos de menos algo mas de menaje y cubiertos en la cocina para una familia de 4 integrantes. Objetivamos algunos defectos en la iluminación y en suministros de limpieza que el anfitrión pudo solucionar adecuadamente durante nuestra estancia. Por lo demás nos sentimos como en casa. Lo recomiendo para alojarte en el Valle del Jerte.

Just fantastic. What a great find. The apartment exceeded our expectations, was in a fabulous position right in the middle of town but nice and quiet. It is also extremely clean! The garage parking just a minutes walk away was a bonus. David was the perfect host, meeting us as arranged and showing us around. There are a few stairs to climb as the apartment is right at the top of this historic building which doesn’t have a lift but it’s good exercise and we didn’t find it a problem at all. Recommended - 5 stars without a doubt.

La casa es muy bonita, cómoda,amplia y muy acogedora. La calefacción y la chimenea funcionan a la perfección, viajamos con bebés y no tuvimos ningún problema. El anfitrión muy atento durante toda la estancia, nos ayudo en todo lo que necesitamos para que saliera todo perfecto. Repetiremos sin duda

Our stay at Soraya’s place was absolutely wonderful. Soraya is a top-notch host—she was incredibly kind and welcoming, even greeting us with delicious local sweets from the region. She took the time to explain many interesting details about the Alcântara area, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The house itself is stunning, with everything you could possibly need. The swimming pool is a highlight, and the beautiful backyard offers a perfect place to relax. The apartment is exceptionally well-maintained and spotless. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Thank you, Soraya, for making our visit so special!

Hemos pasado tres días en casa de Cuca, hemos estado genial, todo limpio, la casa calentita cuando llegamos, Toñi súper amable y estaban para lo que necesites, el sofá cama muy cómodo, es como una buena cama, repetiremos si volvemos seguro, gracias!!

Casa muy bonita y confortable, para visitar en cualquier época del año, chimenea y sistema de calefacción en toda la casa. Estancias amplias, recomendable para estar con la familia y amigos, 4 habitaciones para 8 personas. la cocina muy equipada y con todo lo necesario, cubertería, platos, fuentes.. una despensa con un arcón a parte de la nevera en la cocina. No hemos podido disfrutar de la zona exterior por las fechas, pero con buen tiempo el porche, patio con barbacoa y pequeña piscina de debe estar muy bien. Muy recomendable

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, la maison est superbe et l’extérieur avec piscine est top aussi! Hôte très réactif et très gentil. Localisation parfaite pour visiter les alentours.

La experiencia ha sido maravillosa. La casa esta muy equipada, al detalle, y la atencion de nuestra anfitriona impecable. Maria ha estado atenta durante todo el fin de semana para que la estancia fuese de 10! La casa es grande y preciosa y su bodega es una joya 🍇 Sin duda recomendaríamos este alojamiento a cualquier familia que quiera pasar unos días tranquilos y relajados.

Very clean apartment with a small terrace and equipped kitchenette in a quite street. Parking is possible directly in front of the apartment. The location is perfect for getting to national park (10 mins). The host was very friendly and welcoming, lacking of English skills, but we managed everything with google translator. Recommended for - not only - bird lovers!

El entorno es precioso, tienes la Vera y el Jerte bastante a tiro. El alojamiento está genial, muy bien equipado, agradable, tranquilo y con unas vistas impresionantes. Ahora, lo mejor es Cristóbal, un anfitrión atento y agradable como pocos. 10/10. Súper recomendado y si vais con mascotas más todavía.

Una estancia estupenda. El alojamiento muy cómodo, limpio y nuevo. La chimenea y el jacuzzi un punto extra. El recibimiento y la comunicación geniales.

Piso encantador y acogedor. Limpio y organizado.Situado en el centro de Cabezabellosa, pueblo muy bonito situado en plena sierra con mirador espectacular. Volveríamos a repetir.Natalia siempre muy atenta.Ideal para hacer senderismo y pasear entre los arboles de cerezos.

Nous avons trouvé Alba sur place a nous attendre avec un grand sourire, elle m'a aidé a monter une valise bien lourde, très gentille, son enfant adorable, le lieux correspond aux photos, appartement tres propre. Endroit très calme, paisible. J'ai pas réellement profiter du village car je suis rester qu'un jour. Si vous aimez la randonnée, c'est le lieux idéale, car les villageois aimes faire la randonnées Une prochaine fois 😊👌 Et merci encore Alba
