CasaDelViento - Nature Retreat

Special hideout completely surrounded by nature! Spectacular views of the SanMamede nature reserve, Park Tajo International and zona ZEPA del RioSever. The house is a fantastic base to visit the ancient cities of LaRaya Luso, marvel at the authentic Spanish and Portugese folklore, hike trough the surrounding wilderness and numerous megalithic remains and menhirs. Tapada da Raia has 35 acres of land, in the Natural Park of Serra de São Mamede (being the last Portuguese house, because it is bordered to Spain). For years it served as an anti-stress refuge for the family, who today decided to open the doors for those who want to spend relaxing days in the nature. The rustic-style house features the necessary amenities for an invigorating holiday, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, where even time seems to take longer to pass. Hope you like it!

Our apartment is located in Valencia de Alcántara (Cáceres-Extremadura), exactly in the hamlet of San Pedro, 8Km from Portugal. We have an apartment with living room with fireplace and 43 " Smart TV, fully equipped kitchen, bedroom with double bed and bathroom. Air conditioning in both living room and bedroom and free WIFI.   Ideal place to visit: Valencia de Alcántara, Natural Park of the Tajo Internacional and the region of the Alentejo in Portugal (Marvao and Castelo de Vide).

Casa dos Galegos combines traditional architecture with a modern layout. It is located in the village of Galegos, right in the heart of the São Mamede Natural Park, in the Alto Alentejo region, just 11 km from the villages of Marvão and Castelo de Vide. It features a wood pellet stove for winter and a private outdoor pool for summer. It is the ideal place to take a break and relax, with the perfect balance of being close to everything yet far enough away at the same time.

Casa das Pedras is the starting point for paths that explore the history and charms of Northern Alentejo. Located in the Serra de São Mamede National Park, it is just a few minutes from Marvão and Castelo de Vide. Casa das Pedras is over 200 years old and was restored by us. It is a Quinta where you can relax under 100 olive trees, cork oaks and fruit trees. It can accommodate 6 people with all the comfort of country life. Let yourself be absorbed by this environment.

Acolhedora casa de campo, inserida num sereno e natural monte Alentejano com cerca de 4 hectares. No coração do Parque Natural da Serra de S.Mamede, está rodeado de uma grande variedade de flora autóctone, como Sobreiros, Oliveiras, Carvalhos ou árvores de fruto. Atravessado pelo rio Sever e uma ribeira que convida a banhos refrescantes pelas suas inúmeras quedas de água. Dispõe ainda de duas verdadeiras piscinas naturais, antigos tanques de rega reaproveitados.

High quality bedding & towels, eco-friendly cleaning products. Set in peaceful nature, we are located just 3 minutes walk from the lake where you can swim, paddleboard and kayak. There are beautiful hikes right from the doorstep. The historic town of Marvão is 15 minutes by car.

Casa da Silveirinha - Excelente Localização

Situada no cimo de uma enorme escarpa, a vila de medieval de Marvão oferece a quem a visita uma paisagem deslumbrante. Entrando na vila pelas Portas de Ródão e olhando em frente à direita, o visitante depara com a Casa da Silveirinha. Enquadrada, de um lado, pelas fragas que levam ao Castelo e, do outro, pela imensidão da paisagem circundante, a Casa proporciona a quem nela repousar a sensação de recuar no tempo e tornar-se guardião da entrada na vila.

A Casa da Piedade é um refúgio acolhedor em total sintonia com a natureza, onde o conforto e a tranquilidade são prioridades. Localizada na Portagem, no sopé da serra de Marvão, está a 3 minutos a pé das piscinas locais e a 10 minutos de carro do castelo.
