The yurt has 1 queen canopy bed, a cot under the bed for addn sleeping, cable tv, small refrigerator, microwave, keurig coffee maker, small charcoal grill, bonfire pit and chairs! The 1/2 bathroom is located just a short walk away in the laundry room for the resort as well as an outdoor shower. Also shared beach,dock, boat,canoe,kayak rental for use!

Enjoy this tranquil yurt nestled in the trees overlooking a mowed meadow, providing a hybrid experience between camping and staying in a cabin, or ‘glamping’. You’ll be surrounded by nature and wildlife, sheltered by the canvas ‘yurt’ and sleeping in a comfortable king bed. There is a small solar power system in the yurt and shared porta-potty (~100 yards from yurt). Guests provide necessary water for their stay.

Sit on the deck and listen to the loons in the summer or warm up next to the woodstove or in the barrel sauna in the winter. Located 25 minutes north of Marquette, our yurt is simple and rustic without electricity and a woodstove is the only heat source. We provide bedding, water in buckets, a simple kitchen, a battery pack for string lights, and a sauna for warming the bones. We encourage and cater to silent-sport type of guests as we have kind and close neighbors on all sides. We are close to great outdoor recreation near Lake Superior and are about 6 miles from Meyers Beach in the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. Our property is located on 40 acres and is very remote. We are on the edge of thousands of acres of county land. The perfect escape!

Turtle Yurts - Yurt 1

1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, Sleeps 2 Nestled among the north woods, this yurt is a comfortable and unique getaway. The design is a contemporary twist on the traditional yurt, featuring classic yurt elements such as lattice walls and radial rafters, along with modern comforts. The yurt sleeps up to two guests with a queen-size bed sitting under a clear dome to watch the sky above. There is a sitting area, as well as a bathroom, complete with hot shower and flush toilet.

COZY YURT in Houghton near MTU

This yurt is nestled in the woods on our 10 acre hobby farm. It's a cozy space perfect for two. Make sure to spend some time around the outdoor firepit, curl up with a book on the couch in front of the wood-pellet stove, and peek out one of the many windows as often as possible - we've spotted deer, fox, coyote, wolves, bear, turkeys, and more! You will also have the opportunity to interact with our dairy goats and chickens, if interested. No pets, please.

The yurt has a deck and chairs, a seasonal screen door to enjoy the breeze, a woodstove, a propane cookstove, an outhouse, and a bucket sink.

Sleep in the beauty of nature while enjoying the comfort of modern amenities. Situated in Tiki RV Park & Campground, this yurt is as serene as it gets. Located in a separate part of the park for privacy, a short walk to the 2 private restrooms and showers reserved for our yurt guests only is required. We are conveniently located near downtown St Ignace, giving guests local access to the city and everything it has to offer while feeling miles away.

Nestled in the middle of the Bayfield County Forest, this rustic, minimally maintained yurt has direct access to miles of non-motorized rec trails (mountain bike, cross-country ski and hiking).
