Traverse Lodge Base Camp Room 6

This is a newly renovated property with the adventure traveler in mind. Whether seeking out museums, arts & cultural events, or the many recreational opportunities the Adirondacks offer, we hope this is the perfect base for your travels. Our goal was to create a space and features that we appreciate when traveling. Unique rooms with clean, simple lines, glassware and mugs, coffee-tea-cocoa with real half and half, and towel warmers! The sink is located in the room itself, with shower and toilet in ensuite bathroom, making it easier for multiple users. Rooms 4 and 5 are offer an optional adjoining configuration, and the two cabins in the rear of the property adjoin the fire pit area. Please note that we are a non-smoking property and pets are not allowed.

We provide a rustic setting in the center of the Adirondacks. On a clear night, the stars seem so close you'll swear you can touch them.

Free high speed (20 Mbps) internet access available through LAN WiFi throughout the property. Two extra long full Simmons Beauty Rest mattresses can sleep up to 4 people total. Welcome skiiers and hikers! Built in 1905 as the Reception Hospital, the Prescott House is now a beautiful brick guesthouse a few blocks from the center of Saranac Lake. Our family room has two queen beds and a shared bath located down the hall. Downstairs you'll find a communal kitchen, laundry, porches, pool table and s a comfortable parlor with coffee & tea.
