Located on Lake Norman with a private dock—in a great location! Just seconds away to open water, yet situated in a large cove that’s great for swimming with the kids. Dock allows you to tie up your boat, jump in for a swim, or take in the sunset. Cabin is perfectly situated on a quiet road with lots of mature trees. With parking for 5 vehicles, and only 1 mile to the nearest Publix and restaurants. You will feel like you’re a world away—although only a few minutes to many conveniences!

Lakeside Rustic Retreat

Cozy cabin in the woods. You can anchor in and enjoy the peaceful quiet of the cove, sit by the fire, laze in the hammock. Or take advantage of being centrally located to many Lake Norman amenities. You'll have a personal dock to moor your own boat. Nearby marinas offer boat/jetski/paddle board rentals. There is a canoe and kayak on premises as well as various sized life jackets. Ft private cabin was built in 2023 and is nestled in the woods overlooking the river. Just minutes from the trendy small town of Belmont, w/ popular restaurants, pubs and boutiques. 5 min to Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens, 15 min to the National Whitewater Center, 30 min to uptown Charlotte. Lovingly restored mill house originally built in 1905. Unit is located in House 12 of the Henry River Mill Village. Per night rental is for 1 of the 2 units that each include a queen bed, two twin beds, kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator, and 2 full bathrooms. Rental of both units on the same dates allow for full house occupancy by guests. General admission tickets included with rental from the date of check-in to the date of check-out (based on seasonal operating hours ).

We are still a working farm and you just may be able to see a little farming during your stay. Our 1 bedroom cabin is the perfect spot for a quiet getaway! Our front porch is the perfect place to have your morning coffee and to sit in the evening with a glass of wine. Note, messages sent after 8PM may not be received until the following morning.
