Debbie house was everything we needed and more. She was so quick to respond with any questions and had so many recommendations for the area. We are a helicopter crew working in the area and are moving around a ton. She even had a second home we could move in to with a last minute change from our side of work. We hope to stay at any of Debbie's locations anytime we are in the area!

This place was amazing spent 4 days with a few buddies we were able to ride our ATVs right from the house. This house was amazing looking forward to another trip with the family and friends the bottom level has all kinds of board games as well as a pool table, air hockey and table tennis 🏓

Updated kitchen, spacious, plenty of room for a boat, close to Rec area, good communication with owners. No complaints

Nice large peaceful space, great for relaxing and playing games with the family. We enjoyed the pool table and the poker table very much. Kitchen was well equipped and made it easy to cook for the family. The snacks and wine at check in was a nice touch. There was plenty of warm blankets to curl up in, in fact there was a beautiful handmade quilt that reminded me so much of my own at home that my grandmother made years ago! The host Ernie was very responsive when I had questions, and I really appreciated that. We enjoyed our weekend stay, only complaint is we wish we would have booked for more time.

What a wonderful and restful stay at Eva and Greg’s Almanor House! A friend and I wanted a girls' getaway to escape the 100+ degrees heat in the Butte County valley floor. We wanted to be close to Lake Almanor but away from the Labor Day crowds. This place was perfect in that we were minutes from a wonderful Pizza place, and other restaurants in Westwood and only 12 minutes from Lake Almanor for boating, hiking, picnicking, and lake-view restaurants. We enjoyed the beautifully decorated cottage with super plush couch, comfy beds, and fully stocked kitchen and two bathrooms. We ate our meals both in a breakfast nook and outside by the fire pit and we enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of exploring. The neighborhood was very quiet and we can see the stars at night. Eva and Greg were very responsive with our every question before the stay and were available by email/text. Everything from toiletries, towels, fresh linens, very nice cooking instruments were provided in this cottage. Eva and Greg thought of everything to make our stay incredibly comfortable. We definitely will return again!

This is a 3rd year celebrating my husband’s birthday at Steve’s place on Lake Almanor and we will likely be back for a 4th. The home fits our random grouping of family and friends with plenty of elbow room. The huge deck provides the perfect place for morning coffee and group meals while the comfy couch offers a cozy spot to warm up and relax once those evening temps drop. There were plenty of supplies in the kitchen, however I wish there was some Tupperware for leftovers. (I think I said the same thing last year…I should read my own reviews ;)

Jennifer wasn't just a lovely host with great food recommendations. She's incredibly considerate when it comes to setting her guests up for a fun/peaceful/comfortable getaway! The house was clean. The kitchen is open. The living room is big enough for the whole family to watch a movie (with a cozy fire). The backyard is spacious with beautiful views. We were lucky enough to experience snowfall during our stay. I would recommend this Airbnb 1000%! Can't wait to return!

Roger’s place was wonderful! Very clean and had plenty of space for everything we needed. Unfortunately, we were here for work and weren’t able to enjoy all this place had to offer, but would love to come back again for a vacation! Roger was excellent with the communication and extremely flexible and helpful.
