A short drive takes one to Pt. Reyes and its pristine beaches and hikes. San Francisco and Sonoma wine country are a short drive away. A gated driveway and private entryway greets you as your arrive at your bucolic getaway. We are located next to a popular Open Space preserve great for hiking or biking. Both San Francisco and the Wine Country are 45 minutes away! Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young lived on this property when they produced their classic "Deja Vu" album in the early 70's. The album cover photo was taken under our special and majestic oak tree and the photo was developed in the dark room that is now the bedroom.

Great drives to Point Reyes and Golden Gate Bridge. A great base for exploring the area.

This lovely little private studio is located on the lower level of our 3-story home in a magical redwood grove in Fairfax, California. The unit has a cozy Murphy bed, kitchenette, dishwasher, and bathroom with a large shower. Enjoy a private outdoor deck and patio surrounded by redwoods. There are two sweet cats on the premises. They don’t hang out in the unit but they love to visit guests and may occasionally enter the unit.
