Luxury by the lake

A new summerhouse, based on the beautiful lakefront of lake Meðalfellsvatn, Iceland. Only 40 minutes drive from Reykjavik. Sleeps 6 adults, or a family of 6 people. It has all the equipment a house needs. A spacious living room, a kitchen. Two big beedrooms, and a smaller bedroom. Double beds. Two bathrooms, master bathroom with a bathtub, and a bathroom with shower. A “Mancave” on the patio outside. A hottub. We are situated in the middle of the NORTHERN LIGHTS district for the winter months.

A recently renovated inside designed for relaxation and comfort staying. You will be surrounded by tranquility and stunning natural beauty in the cottage. You have mountain view around the lake "Meðalfellsvatn". Having relaxed night in comfortable hot tub is a good way to tread yourself after energetic day. The hot tub location give you the best seat to see playful aurora light in the countryside. 37 minutes drive from Reykjavík, 30 min Golden Circle, Perfect for daytrips in any direction´s.

Cottage in Iceland with hot tub on request

The cottage is family-owned and is located in beautiful and peaceful surroundings next to Medalfellsvatn Lake with spectacular views over the lake. The cottage is located near Reykjavik, about 30-40 minute drive from Reykjavik. It is ideally situated amongst Iceland's most popular attractions. Many of the attractions are within 1 one-hour drive from the cottage, e.g. the Þingvellir National Park, which is on the way to Gullfoss and Geysir. Hot tub available upon request for €15 per day.

Near Reykjavik, Lakeside beach front.

Gunnu Hús by Meðalfellsvatn ( Our lakeside cottage nestles at the foot of Medalfell mountain and the garden leads right down to the lake. The views are spectacular, of the lake and its surrounding mountain scape; it is a place of pure tranquility. It has 3 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and sitting room. It has a large double bedroom, and small double bedroom and a room with a bunk bed. It is well known and often listed as one of the most scenic and lovely summer cottages in Iceland.

Cosy lakeview cabin 45 minutes from Reykjavik

A lakeside cabin at the foot of Medalfell mountain with direct access to the lake. A peaceful place with a beautiful lakeview where you can relax to the gentle sounds of the water. On the terrace is a barrel sauna with a beautiful view over the lake. The surrounding area is full of nature and a good starting point for little hikes. Good location for day trips to Snæfellsnes and the Golden Circle. During the winter time is a good chance of seeing the Northern lights (Aurora Borealis).

This secluded cabin is just 35 min from Reykjavík and offers complete privacy along with a hot tub overlooking the lake. The bathroom is fully equipped, while the modest yet functional kitchenette includes all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Enjoy a selection of movies on the TV with a DVD player—please note there’s no WiFi, making this the perfect spot to unplug and enjoy a peaceful, cozy getaway. We use geothermal water. Beach House in Hvalfjordur

The Beach House consists of two properties by the sea in Hvalfjordur, 40 minute drive from Reykjavik. This cosy cabin and its little sister house, offer spectacular views and access to nature. It sits a moments drive from the wonderful Hvammsvik Nature Resorts and Hot Springs which is one of Iceland's most unique outdoor experiences.
