Kairu's haven is a slice of paradise, a sanctuary for weary souls escaping the city's relentless pace. The river's gentle song lulls you into serene afternoons, perfect for a dreamy siesta. Kairu, a host like no other, felt more like a newfound friend by the time we parted. We’d love to return to this enchanting retreat.

Ken's place was ideal for our group. it's a Very beautiful home and very well manicured grounds. We arrived late at night and Jane was awesome, she waited for us. She was very accommodating and motherly. in the morning she was back and made us a wonderful breakfast. Definitely recommend this place.

Schöner, moderner und geräumiger Bungalow inmitten des Waldes, ein wenig abseits der asphaltierten Straße, man muss unbedingt den Besitzer telefonisch kontaktieren und sich den Weg erklären lassen, denn es gibt kein Schild. Dennoch blieben wir am Ende eine weitere Nacht, weil wir uns so wohl fühlten und man wunderbare Wanderungen vom Haus aus machen kann. Die Landschaft ist sehr schön, hügelig mit Tabakfeldern und Obstplantagen, nebenan wohnen Bauern. Das Haus ist ideal für Selbstversorger: der hilfsbereite Hausmeister kaufte gegen eine lächerliche Gebühr für uns ein und bot an für uns zu kochen. Es gibt auch Mountainbikes.
