The Bothy: apartment-style homestay

The Bothy is a self-contained and independent unit of Belinda and Hugh's lovely home, but has the same fantastic views of the lake and the mountains as their own sitting room. It has a small kitchen so you can be as independent as you wish, and a comfy lounge with "that" view! The main bedroom has a king bed, but there are two single beds and a small child-sized bed in a mezzanine loft (with pull-out ladder access) for the family, and a pull-out couch which makes into a comfy bed for one extra.

A NEW build, purpose designed 2 bedroom house for 1-5 guests opposite shop and petrol station. Our main listing is Middle Island Taupo, is for beyond 6 month stays. Or for 3 bedroom whole house bookings. We have done our best to make it as comfortable as your own home. Heat pump in lounge and master king bedrooms. Whole house is double glazed with 3 smart tvs. 50in 4k smart TV free unlimited wifi & Netflix in lounge. 2 bedrooms have 32 in smart tvs.. book 4 for 2 bedrooms! Or use sofa couch.

Spacious and cute studio unit, close to town

Newly decorated, studio unit, situated close to Taupo town, walking distance to shops & restaurants. Fully fenced, with off street parking. A lockable space for 2 pushbikes. Private & self-contained, our studio is cozy when you want to stay in, and easy to come back to when you've been out sightseeing or at the Lake or hot pools. The heat pump & double glazed windows will keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. There's everything you need here for a great stay in our lovely town.

Lake Terrace Unit with Private Thermal Pool

This property has two sunny double bedrooms available with queen beds and a day bed in the living area suitable for one adult or child. The sunsets, lake and mountain views are spectacular. This is a great central spot for a summer or winter break. This is modern accommodation with a well equipped new kitchen and has everything for a relaxing stay in Taupo. The pool can be filled within an hour of arrival and is perfect after a day's tramping, skiing, kayaking or serious shopping!

In the popular holiday haven of Acacia Bay, this is a great base to leap in to water/hiking adventures or to just curl up on the couch with a little Netflix. The lake is just around the corner (literally!) and there's much to see & do. Your space is newly renovated with a kitchenette, yummy cereals, comfy extras like games, books, wifi and Chromecast. Central, cosy Studio

Self contained studio, semi detached from main house. Located in suburb of Hilltop, minutes drive from town and walk to the lake. Kitchen equipped with fridge, microwave and induction hob. Bedroom with a queen bed, cosy lounge with TV and fold out couch for extra guests if required. Also two cubby beds suitable for children up to 140cm tall. Flued gas heater keeps the place nice and toasty in the winter months. WiFi included.

Bach 63: Stunning Lake Views!

Bach 63 is a 1950's authentic, quintessential kiwi bach. It has stunning 180 degree views over beautiful Lake Taupo. It has a funky retro feel. Well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Huge out door covered deck, private location. Cafés and bar/brasserie 5 min. 8 minutes from CBD. Newly redecorated in December 2022, refurbished bathroom August 2023
