We loved our stay in Pansy Shell. It’s a fabulous, open plan house with a lovely garden and pool and the most extraordinary view, must be the best in Plett. All communication was very easy, Cynthia looked after us very well, as did the security company (a faulty key meant we saw night watchmen a few times). We would definitely recommend this house and would love to return.

We loved our stay at the poolhouse! Check in was easy and Tom and his colleagues were always fast to respond if we had questions. There are some restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance and the house is perfectly located near the water. We traveled with two small children and would without hesitation stay at the poolhouse again:)

It is a lovely home in a beautiful golf estate. Spacious, well equipped and tastefully furnished throughout. The sparkling pool area soon became our family favourite. Large relaxing couches ideal to spend time in the warm winter sun. Sanet (the rental agent) made us feel welcome, well informed & even assisted with our search of a particular restaurant. An impressive welcoming gift along with a personal enquiry as to our well being, from the owner. It’s a must for golfers & lovely to go for a jog / walk in the greater estate. We have spent many holidays on Thesen Islands over the years, renting multiple homes on multiple islands. We have now found the perfect home for us. What you arrive to is so much better than any description or picture and exceeded all of our expectations without exception. It's a stunning North facing location with a wonderful view up the main canal. The home is very well appointed and most notably, for us and for my wife, spotlessley clean. Also very notably we were supplied with the small things that make a big difference and give you a sense of generosity by the hosts; toilet paper, dishwasher tabs, sponges, washing powder, hand soaps etc (you'll be shocked how many home stays don't supply the small things). We are so appreciative to Ilsebe for sharing her lovely home with us. 2026 is already booked. Can't wait! The Farrells

Cindy's place is great, with a wonderful outdoor entertainment and pool area. The kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms comfortable. Cindy was quick to reply to any queries or requests for assistance. Thanks Cindy!

Best house we had ever stayed at! House is huge, modern and even more amazing than in pictures. Everything is comfortable, views are absolutely incredible, neighborhood is beautiful and safe, location is perfect. Susan is an excellent host. We wish to be back soon!!!

Morne is a super host. The house is way more beautiful and spacious in real life. It was a really magical getaway for my family. The street lights reflecting on the water of the lake at night was one of the picturesque highlights for me. We would definitely like to stay there again in the very near future. Thank you Morné.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in der Unterkunft von Paul & Renee. Von dort aus haben wir einen Ausflug nach Robberg Island unternommen – perfekt zum Wandern mit traumhaften Ausblicken. Anschließend konnten wir am schönen Pool entspannen. Abends haben wir entweder selbst gegrillt oder eines der hervorragenden Restaurants in der Umgebung besucht. Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen, sehr privat und die Zimmer sind mit viel Stil und Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Wir können diesen Ort uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Wie schon beim letzten Mal war unser Aufenthalt in Kathys Cottage wunderbar. Kathy antwortet immer sofort auf irgendwelche Fragen. Das Cottage ist gemütlich und man fühlt sich gleich wie zu Hause. Es ist ausgestattet mit allem was man so braucht. Die Wohnanlage River Club ist unserer Meinung nach der beste Ort, um in Plett seine Ferien zu verbringen, insbesondere für Familien mit Kindern. Gepflegte Anlage, schöner Pool, Tennisplätze, Spielplatz... Und fußläufig sind Strand, Restaurants und ein kleine Supermarkt zu erreichen. Kleinere Kinder können sicher in der Wohnanlage alleine rumlaufen und spielen, größere Kinder können allein zum Strand und zum Supermarkt gehen. Was braucht man mehr für einen entspannten Familienurlaub!

What an amazing gem in the centre of Plettenberg Bay. We loved our stay for four nights. Great location, lots of space in the house for privacy and entertaining. Modern kitchen and outdoor area. Well priced considering all the place has to offer. Would definitely stay again.

It was lovely returning to Christa & Josephs home. Joseph is always up for a good conversation & willing to share tips & valuable insights. Our stay was a wonderful escape from the demands of everyday life. Absolutely 5 star accommodation and surroundings. Wendy and James (and the dogs) gave us a warm welcome and directed us to the best restaurants in Wilderness as well as recommendations for walking trails. Definitely top of our list for a return trip. Shame we couldn't have stayed longer. The view is spectacular overlooking Island lake and the sea. The private balcony is perfect for a morning coffee and spotting birds. Keep an eye out for the Knysna Turaco (Loerie). The pool is perfect for cooling off after a long hike.

Karin’s home is really beautiful and a very special location. Lovely walks to enjoy and the views are beyond beautiful. The kids had a great time in the pool even though it was early autumn and with the pool solar heating it took the edge off. Surprisingly the kids did not complain about there being no TV. We had lots to do, games, walks, reading and exploring the area and local cafes. Worth a visit, we loved our stay!

Maria made us feel right at home. The place is incredible, and the furniture is equally impressive. We mostly followed the recommendations they gave us. The house is situated in a very safe area, just a 5-minute walk from a restaurant and a coffee shop. The beach is just a 10-minute walk away. It’s the perfect place to stay with a baby. We used the barbecue and beach chairs. Knysna is an ideal break on the Garden Route. We would have stayed longer if we could have!

This was a safe area where we could walk through the neighborhood. It is close to everything in Knysna. It was very clean and having a washer was really helpful. Wifi seemed slow. The property has a lot of steps, but that was fine for our family. It was nice to have multiple seating areas so we could sit together or spread out when we wanted to. Host offered information on local attractions and had coffee, milk, and sugar for when we arrived.

Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt, man spürt, dass dieser Ort geliebt wird. Wunderschön dekoriert und für große Familien/Freunde geeignet. 4x Braai- Optionen!🤣 Danke, dass wir hier sein durften. Vielleicht ein Hinweis für mobilitätseingeschränkte Personen oder Sportwagenfahrer: die Auffahrt/ Eingang ist ziemlich steil und hat keine Treppe.

We had an incredible few days at the house in Knysna! It was so comfortable and inviting that we never wanted to leave. We enjoyed swimming, braaiing and relaxing while watching movies together. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, plus some lovely extras. The rooms were clean and the bed really comfortable .The owners Kate and Grant, were incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I would absolutely love to return whenever possible. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it!

We had a great time at Kim's place, the view from the deck alone was worth every cent. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and extremely spacious, coming and going was a breeze. thanks to the anti-bug mesh on the bedroom windows we could keep them open and have a constant supply of fresh and cool air which made the hot summer nights quite bearable (it's the little things that count). overall a lovely stay with zero issues. Big thanks to Vincent for giving us the tour :)

What an incredible stay! So comfortable, and such amazing surroundings. Spent a lot of time on the top deck bird-watching, and felt like we had made some friends when some of them appeared to see us off when we left! The most peaceful and tranquil of locations. It feels like a privilege to be able to stay in the centre of a place like Nature's Valley, and in such a lovely family home. We'll be back.

My wife and I were looking for a few days away from the hustle of the city. Found this absolutely stunning home, pictures understate just how stunning, peaceful and homely it is. We immediately felt at home, to the point of wanting to extend our stay. Lauriane is on the money, responsive. She provided directions to the T, communication on point. We enjoyed the peace, the stillness of just being. The birds. The air. The morning sun. Absolutely beautiful!! Thank you 🫶🏽
