Wow, what an amazing holiday! Tim was fantastic in helping us to decide whether his villa was right for us prior to booking. He also put us in touch with his local 'fixer' who helped us to book train tickets, trips and transport all at very reasonable and competitive prices. The villa is fabulous. We were spoilt for space as a family of 4 and didn't actually end up using the cottage as there was ample space in the main house. The house is furnished traditionally and we felt a million miles from home which is just what we wanted. The pool was the real highlight for us! The villa is staffed which was a new experience for us but we were quickly made to feel very comfortable. The chefs food is incredible. The housekeeper is lovely and she works tirelessly to keep everything spotless. The gardener/pool guy was a real star and we enjoyed having a laugh with him. We didn't see much of night security but we always felt extremely safe and appreciated him. 10/10 from start to finish

Absolutely enjoyed our stay at Anna's home. It's beautiful and very tastefully done. It's clear she's poured a lot of love into it.

I had the pleasure of staying at Cocos Paradise in Diani, and it truly lived up to its name! From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the peaceful atmosphere and lush, tropical surroundings. It's the perfect getaway if you're looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Kenyan coast. The rooms are cozy, clean, and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches that make you feel right at home. The bed was super comfortable, and I loved waking up to the sounds of birds and swaying palm trees. The garden is beautifully kept and offers plenty of space to relax and even kids to play. What really stood out to me was the hospitality , the host & staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. They made our stay feel personal and welcoming. From arranging transport, giving local tips, or just checking in to see if we needed anything, the service was top-notch. I highly recommend Cocos Paradise as quiet, charming, & affordable spot in Diani,. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Shamila é’ stata all’altezza delle nostre aspettative. Brava a consigliarci e a dare indicazioni allo staff per un perfetto soggiorno. Struttura bellissima e accogliente immersa nella natura con una piscina centrale adatta a giovani e persone adulte. Si trova lontano dalla strada pricipale in una posizione tranquilla per chi ama quite e tranquillità. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura.

We had a wonderful stay. Katie was always friendly and responsive, and Beatrice, Anderson and Ngala made our time extra peacfeul. We loved having Sophie the cat around. The house is a short tuk-tuk drive away from the creek with some really wonderful restaurants around. It's exactly as showed on the pictures, we slept in the lower two rooms as we visited just as the raint season started and the top bedroom is a little exposed, but very beautiful if you're staying in the dry season. Would really recommend :)

This place in Watamu was truly beautiful and private. The staff here were incredibly kind and thoughtful. It happened to rain heavily on the day we checked in, and one of the staff members kindly accompanied us to the supermarket. They constantly checked to make sure we felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay, which we truly appreciated. If you’re looking for a peaceful, private retreat with genuinely warm hospitality in beautiful Watamu, I highly recommend this place.

We had a lovely stay, unfortunately shorter than we had planned but Katelyn was extremely accommodating and the cottage was cosy and comfortable with really nice personal touches to make us feel welcome. The cottage was also located in a great area close to everything you might need.

Lovely house, great pool, attentive but unobtrusive staff including a great chef. You need some reliable Tuk Tuk drivers to get to the beach and other places but you wouldn’t get a place of this quality/price by the beach. Both our families had an incredible stay at Watamu.

We had a fantastic stay at Mwanana House! Of all the places we've stayed in Kenya (there are many), the team at the house were the best. We were so well looked after - Antonina catered after our every whim without being asked and preempting our every need, Karisa cooked us the best meals every day, and Katana kept the pool and garden beautifully clean. This team thought of everything with incredible attention to detail and with great patience around small kids. Thank you so much

Kjempefint hus med stort basseng! Perfekt for en storfamilie på tur. Kokken lagde alle måltider for oss, og vi var veldig fornøyd med maten. Helt herlig! Esther var der hver formiddag og rengjorde huset. Vi bestilte også massasje via henne, og det kom en hyggelig dame og masserte oss på stedet. Bassenget ble rengjort hver dag. Fint med gangavstand til stranden. Huset ligger i en gate med vakthold hele døgnet, både mot stranden og mot gaten. Alt føltes veldig trygt. Mikhail svarte raskt på henvendelser i forkant, og hjalp oss også med et legebesøk på grunn av en skade i løpet av turen. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake ved en senere anledning. Anbefales på det sterkeste!

Lorine’s place is amazing! I feel like the antique furniture and aesthetics of the colonial styles was flawless! I will definitely be recommending this place to all of my friends in the future. I can’t wait to come again to see the wonderful puppy/guard dog who is always so friendly! Thank you Lorine and Emmanuel!

Wonderful stay. One of it’s kind. Worth every penny. Ken, our cook, prepared nothing but a variety of delicious meals. Josephine, the adorable, is a very unique lady with a heart of gold. Rachelle, the manager, made our stay very remarkable. As far as the guards, they went above and beyond at making sure we were safe and well cared for. This place is s gem, and if accepted back, we will definitely visit again. If ever up for sale, please let us know. My family would love to call that property home. Thank you so much for such great experience.

William is an excellent host!! He was always responsive when I would message him. The place was so accommodating with all modern amenities! Super clean too and Beds were comfortable! The place is in a very convenient area near shopping mall and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again!

Magnifique séjour à Watamu, la villa est au calme dans un lieu très privé. c'est un peu loin de la plage pour s'y rendre à pied avec des enfants mais on peut facilement prendre un Tuktuk... Le personnel est très discret et toujours prêt à aider ou a conseiller. La piscine est très agréable, les équipements fonctionnels, les chiens sont adorables. Nous avons vraiment aimé rester ici.

I felt at home immediately I arrived at Swordfish.The guard expressed readiness to host us.During the stay,Gladys was very helpful and made our stay cool . Rossella assisted with a list of cabs to engage during the stay that we really appreciated.I would highly recommend Swordfish samaki house to anyone willing to stay in Malindi.

We loved our stay at Pumbao House. It was perfect for our family: two parents and three young adults. It was our final stop after an few weeks traveling through Kenya, and provided the peaceful, casual, comfortable space we needed. We enjoyed every meal cooked by Mwembe, and left the decision making up to him. It was not hard to say "yes!" to "catch of the day"! He and Alex made us feel at home, and were so helpful in every way. Every bedroom was spacious and had an en suite bathroom. We used the pool every day, as well as the outdoor shower. Peponi's was just a few steps away and provided the perfect place for a "sundowner" and a card game at the end of each day, before returning to the house for dinner. I would definitely recommend this house for a family or couples/families traveling together. We created amazing memories there, especially up in the "crow's nest" at the top of the house, where we lay on deep comfortable cushions to look at the stars. We will be back!

Our stay in villa was pure bliss. From the warm hospitality to the exquisite food by cook Rowa and his team, every detail was perfect. The tranquil surroundings and breathtaking views made for a truly relaxing escape. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful team—we can’t wait to return!

This is a lovely house on the beach just next to Treehouse Watamu. The location is excellent, the staff very friendly, and the house has lots of spots to relax and hangout. It also has a nice pool, good mosquito nets and lots of fans. The ocean is a 3 minute walk and this particular stretch of beach is peaceful, empty and hassle free. The house has two good sized double rooms with a bunkbed (double down, single up) in a small corridor. It fit our family of five perfectly. Will definitely be back.
