Patrick and Angel's place was a great winter escape for our group of six people and our dog. They have every detail covered, and were very easy to communicate with. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

Took the family for a quick get away before school starts and this airbnb was on point. Very peaceful and relaxing. Hadn’t seen stars at night in a long time. My family had a great time definitely worth it.

We had a great time! Place was very secluded and peaceful. We got to enjoy morning walks on the beach, collecting seashells and hearing of the ocean waves crash with nobody else around. The bed was comfortable, kitchen had all amenities that we needed, both bathrooms were clean and we got to enjoy a nice bath even. The beach had a lot of sandflies, luckily the owners had a bug spray which saved us, but you can also never go wrong with bringing one as well! Thank you so much for letting us stay at your awesome beach house!

Comfortable, very clean cottage in a great location. Has everything you need to cook meals, just bring your food and seasonings. Walking the beach every morning and evening was wonderful. We only used one bed and it was very comfortable. We had one rain day at the cottage it was a great place to hang and read our books. Birding right from the deck. One morning we watched a couple of eagles fight over a horseshoe crab and a blue heron visited every morning on the beach. Incredible sunrises!

Kate’s place was perfect! Beautiful, comfortable, peaceful, everything we needed! And the neighbors, Krista and Mike are new friends!! Great great place!

Can't say enough how much we enjoy our stays at Dyers Cove! Bill is always quick to respond. House is super secluded, which we love! So much wildlife & you experience something new with every stay!! We have been coming multiple times a year for 6 years now & I swear, each time we stay, we see/experience something new!

In general, we loved the place. A few shortcomings: coffee machine was not emptied and cleaned. No soap in showers. No broiler pan or sheet pan. No scissors. Sugar would have been helpful. But, otherwise, the house was spotless and well supplied. Thank you, Nate

Very secluded with a spectacular view. High tide comes up right under the house (all the houses on the block are built this way) so you're literally staying right over the water. Would definitely rent again.

Marianna was so helpful in helping me find this place last minute when I made a mistake booking a home, she responded in a matter of minutes with a solution to my problem and we are forever grateful for that. The place was very nice, all new furniture and appliances in a beautiful kitchen and bathroom. Great view from the huge covered deck. Stones throw to the beach with private access. Great spot to enjoy a fire at the end of the day with the provided fire pit area. Would highly recommend!

Great location for a short stay for a sports tournament at the DE Turf Complex. Very relaxing and beautiful views of the bay.

Ken and Lana's beach cottage was adorable, filled with gorgeous artwork and unique beach finds, and even better in person than it looks in the photos! We did plenty of walks along the beach, which was mostly empty and very peaceful. I loved that we could sit in bed or on the couch and see out over the ocean. I didn't realize that there were no curtains/shades so if you're not a morning person - be sure to bring an eye mask to sleep with as the sunrise is extremely bright starting around 5am! It was easy to get to and only a quick 15-20 minute drive into downtown Dover. I would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed during a tournament at the DE Turf Complex. It was a great respite from a busy day at the fields. The entire property seems like it was just renovated, spotlessly clean, with all conveniences, but still retains the charm of a beach cottage. The surrounding area was peaceful, sunrises were beautiful and great seafood restaurant was in walking distance. Host communicated quickly, although everything was so well managed, we had minimal contact! Our kids, us parents and grandma all enjoyed ourselves! We'd gladly stay again!

We had a lovely stay at Adam's house. We arrived in gale force winds to the lights and heat on. It was a chilly weekend, but we stayed warm and enjoyed explore the Natural Lands Glades Preserve and beach in front. The house has lovely views - the marshland to the back and the beach to the front. We saw many birds, include several bald eagles. He accommodated a later check out so we could walk on the beach and was very responsive.

We had an amazing stay at this beach house! It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The short walk to the beach was perfect for our family, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive. Highly recommend for a memorable beach vacation!

The house is lovely and exactly as advertised. The area is very quiet, with the beach just steps away from the back door, and then very few people on the beach itself (this may have been partially driven by the cool weather we had). The house was very clean, kitchen well stocked, lots of space to spend time both inside or outside of the house. It was nice that there was a kayak, and we also brought our own paddle boards and enjoyed spending some time on the water. The one thing we had not anticipated was the distance to nearby attractions. We wanted a secluded area - which this was - but getting to rehoboth and other nearby attractions (Cape Henlopen State Park) was further than we anticipated (approx 45 minutes each way). Although the closest town/groceries/convenience items are about 6 miles away, it was still about a 15 minute drive each way, so it's best to arrive at the house well stocked if you don't want to go on too many grocery runs. Beautiful house and if you are looking for a peaceful and quiet escape this place is for you! Oh and also the host was wonderful and very upfront about a minor situation at the house (dryer), which was very much appreciated.

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful beach house during my daughter’s field hockey tournament at the DE Turf Sports Complex, which was conveniently located just about 25 minutes away. The home was absolutely perfect for our needs, serving as both a comfortable retreat and a gathering space for our extended family. With nine of us in total there was plenty of room to relax without ever feeling crowded. The home is beautifully maintained. One of the most appreciated touches was how well-stocked the house was with linens, towels, and pantry essentials. It was such a relief to find items we needed readily available, especially since I happened to forget a few things during packing. These extra conveniences really set this property apart from others we’ve stayed at in the past. Overall, this was an exceptional stay that truly exceeded our expectations. We’re already planning to return next year for the tournament, and we look forward to staying here again. Many thanks!

This is the perfect spot for a large group! There is plenty of room inside and out, with beds for everyone. It was also great to have multiple rooms with TVs so people could relax, and ample parking space. A great find and great host!

My family had a great stay at Fortescue beach. Quiet town, beautiful sunsets, a few nights of skies clear enough to see the Perseid meteor shower. Beach access from the house, easy kayaking and paddle boarding, calm waves and shallower water on the bay was great for kids.
