We had a mini vacation with a group of friends for my fiancé's birthday just for the weekend and our stay at this lake house was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we loved how aesthetically pleasing the inside of the house was! The house itself was spotless and beautifully maintained, with thoughtful touches throughout that made it both cozy and luxurious. The kitchen was stocked with a good amount of amenities, enough for us to have a yummy carne asada, and the beds were super comfortable. Then when you walked outside you were met with beautiful surroundings like the sparkling water and refreshing air. Whether we were kayaking, lounging inside the enclosed patio, or having a bonfire, every moment felt like a retreat. The host was responsive, kind, and clearly takes great pride in this special property! We're so grateful for the chance to stay here and will absolutely be back. If you're looking for a beautiful and refreshing escape, this is the place!

First of all: the selection for silverware was my favorite part of the stay. There were spoon sizes for every type of meal and it was so fun to use the itty bitty spoons for stuff like ice cream. The location was great and we had everything we could have wanted. The deck was well taken care of, and we loved the giant windows that let us see everything outside all the time. It truly felt like a perfect vacation home for our group, to either stay in and play dnd and board games, or go rest on the hammock, or eat dinner on the back porch while staring at the fire pit! The canoe was so much fun and it was so cool to see that we had a fishing rod available to us! (One of our group brought his own fishing rod already so it was really funny.). The kitchen is well-equipped and we never felt like we were running out of dishes (unless we forgot to run the dishwasher!). I would recommend this place to everyone—as long as it’s not a week in planning to be back in it!

The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable stay. Waking up to the view of the lake every morning was absolutely magical. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and responsive, providing clear instructions and delightful little touches throughout the home that made us feel welcome and comfortable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a lovely lakeside retreat!

Wonderful stay! Very homey. They had everything you could possibly need. Definitely in my top 5 Airbnb list. The host was very responsive. Not long of a drive to the Naval Station.

Anna and Doug are fantastic hosts--very friendly and accommodating--and the location is amazing! It's wonderful to wake up to birdsong in the morning and to hear the frogs in the evening, and it's surprisingly close to a bunch of fun stuff to do during the day. :) Thank you both very much for a wonderful stay!

Very clean, mattresses were super soft and comfy. We appreciated that there were things like paper plates, ramen, oatmeal..

We had a great stay in Twin Lakes near Mary Lake. The home was very clean and the area was quiet. The beds linens and pillows were very comfortable. We had enough room for 7. Two baths and laundry worked out great. There was a nice patio and fire pit to use. It was walkable to the small town of Twin Lakes. Although we did not visit the local establishments this time. We had friends to visit in Lindenhurst which was an easy 30 minute drive into IL We would recommend this location for anyone visiting southern WI and northern IL. Supplies were minimal but sufficient for making meals at the house. There was a gas grill available as well. We hope to visit again sometime.

Thanks for everything Melizza. Everyone had a great time and truly enjoyed the proximity to the lake. Lot of great bird watching for the birdwatcher in our group. Lot of walks in a very nice area and setting. We all gave it a double thumbs up.

Wonderful and cozy lake front home - we can't wait to book again for next year!

My wife and I have been active on Airbnb for several years and we've experienced quite a few wonderful rentals; however, Susan's place stands out for several reasons. Her rental was exquisitely clean, very comfortable, and filled with little touches that made it feel like home. One not so little "touch" was the brand new massage chair in the living room - what a wonderful surprise! We loved luxuriating in that chair after our visits to the Bristol Ren Faire.

My family had Christmas at this home and it was perfect. Plenty of space, bathrooms on both floors, lots of sleeping options. We were able to accomodate my cousin in a wheel chair through the side door with no issues. The kitchen had everything needed to serve a large, beautiful family dinner. There were toys, a high chair, and even small children’s desks to accomodate young ones. The host was super communicative and helpful before the stay and during. Thank you for being a wonderful host!
