Trailheads and the East Branch Ausable River are easily accessible from the cottage. In Keene you’ll find locally-owned shops, markets, and cafes. We are 15 minutes from Whiteface Mountain, an Olympic Ski Resort and 15 minutes from Lake Placid.

High Peaks Artist's Loft

The High Peaks Artist’s loft is a converted mechanics shop located conveniently right in Keene. The space has been decorated by two artists and includes original paintings and decorations. This is a generous studio space with a well-equipped kitchenette, bathroom with a shower, pool table, lounge area and large projection screen. When you are ready to turn in for the night, we hope you will enjoy the newly created sleeping loft. If the weather is nice there is also a fire pit for you to use!

Bessie's Cabin showcases a gorgeous view of Baxter and Hurricane Mountains (among others). Its location provides both privacy and easy access to town. Local restaurants are a short drive or there is a full kitchen if you prefer to stay in and cook yourself. Wi-fi and local television provided should you tire of the view.
