Achab Self Catering tent near Spitzkoppe

Achab Camping is located at the foot of the Gamgamichab mountains, only 9,5km south of Usakos. Achab Camping has been set aside as a private initiative for conservation of various fauna and flora (Quiver and Moringa trees). Achab Camping offers private camping sites as well as a self catering tent, scenic views, hiking trails, various natural rock pools and harbors a variety of free roaming game as well as a rich diversity of bird species eg. Herero Chat and Rock Runner.

Okambishi's Rest - Lovely 1-bedroom vacation home

Unwind and forget the hustle and bustle of your daily life while planning the next stage of your trip through our beautiful Namibia. The apartment is spacious and well equipped with everything you need. Enjoy your meals on the shady porch, relax on the sunbed, have a "braai" (barbecue), watch an abundance of wild birds or gaze at the stars at night. We are close to Spitzkoppe, the San Living Museum and the Ameib Ranch, situated between Windhoek and Swakopmund.

Breathe near Spitzkoppe

We offer a unique experience where eco-living is at the heart of your stay. In line with our commitment to sustainability, this double room does not feature a refrigerator, allowing us to conserve solar power and reduce our environmental impact. However, you are welcome to use the fridge in the main building or have a cool box. For hot water showers, we proudly employ an eco-conscious 'donkey system' to heat water, minimizing energy consumption.
