We have been living in Denpasar for one year, but we are originally from the U.S. where we lived in the Blue Ridge Mountains, had a garden, and spent our evenings by the campfire. We were looking for a place to get away for our son’s 16th birthday and hoped for somewhere away from traffic and surrounded by trees. We could not have dreamed that we would find a place that would ease our homesickness while also allowing us to experience the true beauty of the real Bali. If we could move into the cabin, we would in a heartbeat. The staff is incredible and they immediately made us feel like family. We have officially named the cabin our “home away from home” and hope to return when we begin to feel homesick. If you love the outdoors, gardens, trails, flowers, and campfires, you will not be disappointed.

Un lieux magique et exceptionnel niché au milieu des rizières. Ketut et sa famille sont des gens adorable et d’une grande bienveillance et très réactifs si vous avez des questions/besoins. Tout était parfait du début à la fin, vous pouvez faire de jolies balades dans les rizières juste en face et nous avons même pu louer un scooter directement à la villa pour un prix très raisonnable. Nous étions triste de quitter cet endroit Foncez sans hésiter si vous voulez vivre une expérience authentique et inoubliable !

Kusmiatun en Bruno zijn heel attente vriendelijke host: Sfeervol verblijf met compleet ingericht appartement: mooie veranda met prachtig uitzicht, ruime badkamer en complete gezellige buiten keuken in het groen! Door de ligging in de bergen heerlijk koel. Kusmiatun is een geweldige kok: Ik heb genoten van haar gerechten!!

Eva est une jeune femme dynamique, discrète et attentionnée, notre séjour à Amed a été très agréable. Le logement est bien placé, près des plages, on conseille le restaurant Titi Sedana juste à côté. Il y a également de superbes sites de snorkling et de plongée à deux pas. Un endroit séduisant pour faire une halte reposante. Merci à Eva pour son accueil chaleureux !

This hidden beachfront escape in Amed is perfect for a peaceful getaway. The two-bedroom villa is stunning, with breathtaking ocean views and a truly serene atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind and prepared a delicious breakfast every morning. A little tip—stock up on groceries before arriving, as the location is quite secluded. If you’re looking for tranquility and natural beauty, this is the perfect place. Highly recommend!

Fabulous three weeks in this lovely villa. The village is friendly, but also has everything you need as a traveller. Great restaurants, drivers to take you to local attractions & good shops nearby. The villa has everything you need to enjoy self catering. Great kitchen with yummy fruit & condiments to get started. The washing machine was a bonus! The pool is gorgeous, the shaded outdoor living area perfect, with fans to keep us comfortable. Ketut attends daily to clean pool & housekeep. So nice. Vivienne, the host, was super communicative, making everything run smoothly. We will be back next year!!

We had an unforgettable stay in Candidasa, Bali! The villa’s pool deck offers breathtaking views that made every moment special. Madam Wayan was incredibly attentive, ensuring our every need was met, even arranging a delightful cooking lesson that started with a visit to the local market. The meals were exceptional—we truly ate like royalty. We also enjoyed some wonderful excursions and a memorable dinner at Joglo, which we can confidently say is the best restaurant in Candidasa. We highly recommend this villa and will definitely be returning next year!

La villa est incroyable ! c'est celle qui a fait l'unanimité dans ma famille.(nous étions 5, avec mes trois grands enfants). elle est immense et extrêmement bien meublée. les lits sont bons , tout est impeccable. Le personnel est charmant et agréable. toujours souriant. A proximité il y a une plage et un warung( en sortant à droite) qui propose des menus vraiment pas cher, et qui livre dans la villa. il y a également des SPA tout de suite à la sortie de la villa. Mais ce qui fait la différence également c'est la disponibilité des hôtes. ils ont été toujours disponibles pour me renseigner et pour me rassurer. Ils ont fait pour nous bien plus que n'importe quel hôte sur airbnb. Par exemple nous revenions de Gilli et ils ont organisé le transfert à la villa, également à la fin ils ont organisé le transfert à l'aéroport. les échanges sont très cordiaux, ils sont adorables. Bali me manque déjà, et si je reviens probablement que je louerai de nouveau cette villa. Merci pour tout

Wunderschöne Umgebung und jedes Fenster bietet eine tolle Aussicht. Ist schön privat, obwohl hin und wieder Reisarbeiter auf dem Feld sind und dort arbeiten fühlt man sich nicht gestört. Jederzeit wieder!

Our stay was amazing. Super sweet people and very accommodating. Nice home cooked meals and the laundry service was great and very affordable. They provided transport that was also exceptional service. Beautiful view and so relaxing. Occasionally there are people walking by the rice fields in front but it didn’t bother us at all it was still a quiet mostly isolated stay.

Hidden Pearl is a real hidden gem. Everything was absolutely perfect. Everything in great working order, spotlessly clean, amazing and friendly staff, reliable and trustworthy staff and picturesque location. Just bear in mind this little hidden gem is tucked out of the way, and not really possible to walk to anything. This didn’t bother us as we had our own scooters, so happy to venture out for a drive whenever we wanted something. So keep in mind you will need your own scooter or car to get out and about, but the staff are super helpful to pick you up anything from the local shop, warung or chemist that you need as well. So if you want somewhere to chill and relax, to not have to leave your villa - then this is definitely the place to do it! The staff can arrange scooter hire or a driver for some day adventures if you ask them too. Finally, the young ladies who look after you, make the most amazing, tasty, restaurant quality food!!!! We could not fault any dish they cooked us

Wow , I can’t even express in words how amazing this experience was ! We truly loved this place !! Everything is so beautiful , the staff is incredibly kind & helpful . The photos and description of Bukit Temawang do not do it justice. It far exceeded any possible expectations. It is a truly incredible villa with breathtaking views and the kindest hosts/staff. Dede, Kadek, Asti, and Nita are the most wonderful people, and they made our stay absolutely magnificent. The villa, farm, and views are gorgeous and amazingly peaceful. If you are able to stay at Bukit Temawang, do it - I promise you won’t regret it. The most amazing place I’ve stayed.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this villa. Asri was an amazing host — very responsive and helpful with all our questions. Asri even recommended a massage therapist (Anik and her friend), who were absolutely exceptional and made our stay even more relaxing. The villa itself is beautiful and peaceful, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. It overlooks stunning rice fields, which made for the most calming views. The whole place has a lovely traditional charm, with a lush garden that adds to its serene atmosphere. Kadek from the villa staff was also very sweet and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. Would definitely recommend this stay for anyone looking for a quiet, authentic, and scenic getaway!

Beautiful and peaceful accommodation, our host Nancy was very nice and helpful, she organised our boat tickets for Gili T! Only point was the remote location with no walkable restaurants closeby, other than that, we loved it!!

Our stay at Ketut’s was wonderful. They were always responsive to any questions and the housekeeper was friendly and very helpful (also keeping the place lovely and clean!). Location was great, not too far from restaraunts while quiet and peaceful in the evening. From our balcony we could watch the local life going by on the water. Great stay for longer timeframe as it’s lovely and self sufficient! The only challenge was that the AC wasn’t working great and in the middle of the day it was too hot to rest. Ketut was always responsive though in trying to fix this situation. Thanks Ketut for being a wonderful host.

THIS REVIEW IS DIFFERENT..!! Everyone will just say, beautiful location, which it is, amazing private pool, which it has, perfectly clean, which it was, big enough for a whole family or group of friends, which it is. But when you read this review you already like how it looks, what makes this location better than any I ever stayed at, was the service level. I must have been their most unlucky guest, on my way to the location I had a scooter accident, contacted the host if they might know where I could find a doctor and that my scooter wouldn’t start. They didn’t tell me, they came to get me, brought my scooter to a local repair guy that fixed it, brought me to a health clinic to get me fixed up and then brought me to the villa with dinner ready. During dinner I wanted to make a cool drone video of the location and it got stuck in a tree 6 meters high in the top. By the next daylight they climbed the tree to rescue my drone and that was on top of all the already perfect normal service

Hideout is one of the most beautiful and peaceful spots in Bali. Each room is so unique and the attention to detail is unmatched. We stayed with our little dog & she loved it as well, the staff is so friendly and the food is great. If you're looking for somewhere to unwind and relax, this is undoubtedly the spot.
