WHISTLER VINEYARD RETREAT

Set on 80acres in the heart of the Barossa Valley this private, self-contained guest wing is surrounded by vineyard and gardens. Our retreat gets you back to nature... with vineyard and scrub walks, (accompanied by at least one of our Border Collies), friendly geese, an inquisitive free-roaming peacock, hens, rescued & wild kangaroos, the occasional Koala and a myriad of birdlife. With Angaston a five-minute drive in one direction and world class wineries a five-minute drive in another, Vineyard Views has you covered. You can stay in and watch the sunset from the deck with a glass of shiraz, or you can use the peaceful location as a base to visit nearby cellar doors and other Barossa attractions.

Stables by the Vines

In 1856, an English stonemason, Thompson Priest, began mining slate in Mintaro. At the same time, he built a home with stables at the rear of his property. Over the intervening years, the stables fell into a desperate state, however, recently, the Stable has returned to life through a sensitive restoration and refurbishment. Set on the edge of Reillys Winery, the Stable is a 100m walk through the vines to the cellar door and further 20 metres to the renowned Magpie Stump Hotel.

Hide - Adelaide Hills

Set on the doorstep of Uraidla, this tiny cabin is nestled by the flower garden at the bottom of the property, overlooking the valley below. Only an hour's drive north-east of Adelaide, The Rusty Olive is the perfect base for exploring the world famous Barossa Valley and ideal for a romantic getaway.
