Fun experience. It's one step above camping, but not quite glamping. Space is small but it's a beautiful location, and a unique experience. Best used as a base camp for your stay in the area. Rob was friendly and great to chat with. Dogs and cats are friendly and cute

We stayed at Lisa's place for a baby shower in the area and it was a very nice, cozy space. The beds were very comfortable and the area is very walkable. Lisa sent a very detailed message explaining exactly how to get to the apartment, where to park, and how to do the self check-in! I will be sure to see if her place is available the next time I'm in town for anything 💜

The neighborhood surrounding the cottage was rough but once inside the adorable home, it was quiet and comfortable. We were in town to watch a lacrosse game at University of Charleston and were thrilled to find Sally’s cottage on Airbnb! We have stayed twice in rentals in area and they’ve been subpar so I was hesitant but after staying at Sally’s, I’m so glad I took the chance! The house is super clean (my number ONE) and we felt safe and enjoyed the privacy of the homes location. We look forward to returning on our next trip to Charleston.

My husband and I stayed at Shirley Beth's place for a long weekend. Prior to arrival, I had several questions that she answered quickly and thoroughly. We had no issue with check-in. The home is spotless, well maintained and fully stocked. Shirley Beth has thought of everything! Not a thing was missed. The views overlooking the river were beautiful and there were plenty of outside options for optimal viewing. We went to the New River several times and the drive was scenic, with several waterfalls on the route. If you are planning to be in the area, I highly recommend staying there. You will not be disappointed.

This was a beautiful and peaceful getaway in the mountains! I was able to relax and unwind after a hectic start to the year. Bedding was the most comfortable and I actually forgot to look at the mattress name before I left because I wanted to buy one for myself! The bathroom was really pretty and the soaking tub was great! The kitchen was very accommodating and had everything I needed! My favorite part was curling up with a good book in front of the gas fire place and watch the snow fall outside. There is a keypad to enter the home, which died in the middle of my stay. I called Nancy and they came down right away to let me in and change the batteries. I highly recommend having a 4x4 vehicle to get up and back down but still possible in a front/rear wheel drive. I will definitely be back!

Kim was a great host! She was very responsive and helpful! This was our second stay with her. It was very peaceful and relaxing! Loved all the pet friendly aspect!

Our stay was great. Chelsea was super helpful as a host and they made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay as best as possible would highly recommend staying at their place super peaceful and relaxing.

From booking to check out Sharon was quick to respond and very helpful. We felt right at home from the moment we walked into her house. Beautifully decorated, spacious and has every amenity one would need. No detail was missed for their guests. Everything in the house is labeled and easy to find. The home brings a calm for relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. We loved our weekend stay and will surely be back.
