I stayed at this homestay for three nights, and it was a delightful experience. The view from the balcony is simply breathtaking, and the hospitality of the people here is heartwarming. The food is a standout feature—organic and delicious. However, I did encounter a few minor issues. The common bathroom can be a bit inconvenient, and the charger jack is located quite low on the wall. It would be much more convenient if it were placed beside the bed for easier access. Additionally, there are extra charges for using the kitchen, which I believe should be clearly mentioned in the instructions provided to guests. Despite these small issues, everything else was great. I would highly recommend this homestay for its beautiful views, warm hospitality, and excellent food.

We had a lovely stay at this super spacious 3-bedroom country house set within beautiful, expansive grounds. The home was spotless, well-maintained, and the architecture was truly stunning. The location is peaceful yet convenient, just a short drive from Kalimpong. One day we even made the scenic trip to Darjeeling, which was absolutely worth it, though we were glad to return to the tranquility of the cottage. The surrounding area is rich in history and culture. We visited nearby Tibetan monasteries, which felt very special, and even explored St. Mary’s School, founded by a Scottish man,such a fascinating bit of heritage. We had a magical stay at Manohar’s place. The renovation was a work of love and shows painstaking attention to historical detail. The little exhibition on the story of the house, from the end of the Raj to Manohar’s family, is also enchanting. Manohar and his team were great hosts, and everything went smoothly from our arrival after dark to our early-morning departure for the airport. Our host made us a lovely breakfast that we ate in the garden with a view of Kangchenjunga and gave us helpful tips for dinner. I’d definitely recommend a stay at this lovely house. We wish we could have spent more time enjoying it!

His hospitality was exceptional; he greeted me warmly and provided me with detailed information about the area, suggesting the best local spots to visit. The homestay itself was cozy, clean, and offered beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The rooms were well-maintained, with comfortable bedding and all the necessary amenities. The homemade meals prepared by Bhasker and his family were delicious, with a mix of traditional Nepali and Bengali dishes. It truly felt like a home away from home. What stood out the most was Bhasker’s genuine kindness and personal touch. The place was absolutely magical! The house was super cozy and good for a group stay. Prayag is an absolutely wonderful host and helps to take care of everything. The view from the place is beautiful , rooms are cozy and clean. Overall - good stay and Would definitely like to come back here :)

We had a wonderful stay at the place! It was perfect for my family which we were looking for. The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The caretakers were extremely kind and helpful, making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the delicious barbeque they arranged for us—it was absolutely tasty and well-prepared! The neighborhood was peaceful and the local people were friendly and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely love to come back. Highly recommend!

It was such a great experience at Aryan’s place. 1.First thing was Kalpana di….so polite, extremely good cook, food was amazing , she was always helpful in every aspect. 2.Location was really great, 1 km from rock garden, very peaceful place with beautiful surroundings with no crowd 3.Rooms were same as in pictures 4.Experience was like in home not in hotel

Awesome view from balcony. right in the lap of Nature surrounded by mountains, trees and a very adorable cute puppy liza. the staff are very helpful, guided us to load / unload our luggage and always responsive. A perfect family vacation we spent for a night here. Appropriately named as birdsong for this place as we could hear sweet melodies sung by birds most of the time.
