Kalgan Retreat -Pet Friendly holiday accommodation

The beautifully appointed 2 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom Chalet is located on a semi-rural property, only 15 minutes from Albany CBD. With everything a family could need. We are a Pet Friendly retreat with plenty of room for your pets to run and play. A short walk through the property you will find the Kalgan River, where you can kayak with the family. We have plenty of kayaks for you to use free of charge. We have a few friendly farm animals including Nigerian Dwarf goats, horses and an alpaca.

Mountain Escape next to Porongurup National Park

Wake to birdsong, fresh mountain air and Bluff Knoll through the trees. The Mountain View Cottage is a peaceful family base beside the Porongurup National Park, where private access to the adjoining park and walking trails begins right from the front door. Spend your days roaming forest paths, spotting kangaroos & birdlife, swimming in the dam, playing under big skies or simply slowing down into the quiet. Then come home to mountain views, a warm fire and a cottage that feels easy to sink into.

River’s End Retreat

For couples wanting a romantic escape. Relax and unwind in this bespoke Tiny House overlooking the Kalgan River. Located on 30ac we are a small working farm. Sheep, alpacas and horses graze the paddocks and you may even get a visit from one of our pet kangaroos. From the deck you can listen to abundant bird life and fish rising in the river while enjoying a glass of local wine next to the fire. Close to walk trails, river and beaches come and explore all this amazing region has to offer.

Woodlands Retreat is your secret getaway nestled among the stunning Porongurup Ranges on 40 hectares of wilderness, offering jaw-dropping views that will leave you speechless. This romantic hideout has two roomy bedrooms, each with its own rainwater shower ensuite, a private indoor spa for relaxation, a gourmet kitchen, a warm and inviting lounge, complete with a wood-burning fireplace, perfect for cozy evenings together.
