Away from the hustle bustle, enjoy this quiet serene spot. The property is well off the highway and the neighbouring orchards screen us from traffic noise. The cottage is nestled between small avocado and mixed fruit orchards, with a view out to the small pond and post’n’rail fenced paddocks beyond. Deloraine Cottage boasts 3 king bedrooms, fully self-contained kitchen, dining for 6, laundry facilities and flat screen TV. All the modern comforts have been catered for.

The Yurt Wai Rua

The Yurt at Wai Rua, west of Whangarei, is approximately 20 minutes drive from Kamo via Pipiwai Road. It is set in a beautiful tranquil farmland area beside a small lake, which is surrounded by native trees. Watch the native birds, ducks and pukekos whilst sitting on the deck. It has amazing rural views, including massive volcanic rocks. The yurt has a separate kitchen, with a small fridge and gas oven and 2hob burners. The bathroom has a hot water shower and composting toilet.

Aranga Farm Stay

Our property is a working beef farm, so you will hear and see daily activities. The section is fully fenced. The porch gives a nice view of the valley. The pool is available from mid December to mid March usually. Pool is not heated. Kai Iwi Lakes 20-25 minutes drive and the Maunganui Bluff Beach 10 minutes. Note: 4 km of metal road off S H 12 to reach the house. No Wifi/Good mobile phone reception/Free-view TV Dargaville is the closest place for shopping and eating out.

We are only 75mins drive north of Auckland, 10 mins off the number one highway. The cottage is built from beautiful untreated hardwoods set in a tranquil private spot, nestled on the edge of a regenerating native forest. The cottage is only a 2min walk down to the beautiful Kaipara Harbour. Our place is part of a 25 year old 300 acre organic permaculture farm, which we were instrumental in setting up as a working farm and village style subdivision.
