If you’re looking for a peaceful, family and dog friendly, design focused place to stay, this is your spot. The garden was incredible with spring ephemerals and flowering cherry blossoms blowing in the wind. This was the perfect home base for exploring wineries and the Shawnee National Forest. The loft was the perfect spot to set up our young toddler’s pack-n-play, though fair warning that there is little sound insulation from the kitchen and main living to the upstairs while your little one is sleeping. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this glorious pool house again with our babe in tow! 10/10

Our visit to this Airbnb was fantastic! House had a great view! Beautiful home inside and out. Hottub was great and the fire pit was perfect. This was exactly what we were hoping to have during our visit to southern Illinois.

Amy‘s place was just what we were looking for, a short getaway weekend. It was quite peaceful and Amy was very responsive anytime we had any questions. The hot tub was a big plus and we got to enjoy it many times. The cabin was just far away from everything to feel you are out of the chaos of everyday yet close enough to some smaller towns when we wanted to venture out and try something new. Amy’s place is very close to some really nice parks and other nature area for hiking fishing and exploring. The private dock was also nice for sitting in the sun and fishing. Amy was a great host and her place was just what we were looking for.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the beautiful backyard, hot tub, and wonderful hosts. Their are alot of nearby places to hike.

Allison was very communicative and understanding that we had to check in early.

During the weekend, there was a severe Tornado Watch. Allison invited us into the safety of her home's basement without hesitation. The cabin was clean, obviously created with care, and a wonderful spot for a rainy cozy weekend. My friend and I used the paddle boards on the lake, enjoyed using the BBQ grill, and loved our stay. We hope to come again. Thank you, Allison!

It is an older cabin in the woods. Very nice and quiet. We were able to swim and fish in the pond. The kids had a blast catching the bluegill and bass. The pond has a sand beach. We will come stay in some of the other cabins in the future. Tom was always easy to speak to. We did not have any issues that we needed Tom to address.

We had a fantastic time at Hilary’s place as did our pups! My son now wants to move to Paducah! Great location, super close to downtown and Noble Park. We had an amazing stay and Hilary was super responsive to our weird timeline because of my work obligations. The house has EVERYTHING you could ever need and has a cute, quirky, funky decor we loved. Can’t wait to go back.

Whenever our group comes back to Carbondale we stay at Mulberry Farm and it is truely a home away from home. Their home is so relaxing and has everything you need to feel comfortable.

The house was clean and had everything described in the listing. The host had thought of everything, down to restaurant listings for the area and items for a continental breakfast. Beds were comfortable, linens were clean, comfy furniture in the living room as well. If I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great stay Jared!

My family and I had a wonderful time at the Mansion! Tony and his wife were very attentive to our needs and we were very comfortable during our stay. The mansion and interior decor are fascinating and create a unique and timeless environment; I really felt I had gone back in time many decades; this was such a welcome respite from my life in California. We will certainly always try and book the Mansion for our annual trips to Southern Illinois. I highly recommend the property.

This listing is spot on. The pictures are accurate. It was sparkling clean. The hosts furnished Keurig coffee maker and some K cups. They had fresh 1/2 n 1/2 in the fridge. Breakfast treats were on the counter. The home is beautiful. A nicely appointed Arts and Crafts bungalow in a neighborhood of many similar homes. It was very convenient for our party attending Quilt Week, minutes from downtown action. Our host even assisted us in connecting to the wifi network. We would definitely book again.

Jessica's place is exactly as advertised. The house is clean and the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. I have stayed with Jessica many times and will continue to do so. Jessica's place is a must stay and ranked at top of my list.

Central location in CDL, walk from train station. Can walk to all services, grocery, laundry, etc.. Nice cafes, PK's bar (much character!), Harbaugh's, Italian Village with its terrace. Varsity Center theater always something on. Kitchen well fixtured. Shower works great. Bed very comfortable. Apartment is in the back of the building. Very satisfactory stay for work in the town.

Wonderful location for QuiltWeek: we used the complimentary trolley with stop near apt...Great parking! Spacious! We loved the beautiful hand made tile in the bathroom and column in kitchen area. There were nightlights placed in key locations in the apt. Alissa is wonderful host. She was easy to communicte with and quick to respond. We enjoyed our stay!
