JUST 20 MINUTES OUTSIDE OF DULUTH ON THE BORDER OF JAY COOKE STATE PARK. Enjoy this tranquil yurt nestled in the trees overlooking a mowed meadow, providing a hybrid experience between camping and staying in a cabin, or ‘glamping’. You’ll be surrounded by nature and wildlife, sheltered by the canvas ‘yurt’ and sleeping in a comfortable king bed. There is a small solar power system in the yurt and shared porta-potty (~100 yards from yurt). Guests provide necessary water for their stay.

Only an hour north of the Twin Cities, enjoy modern conveniences like WIFI (60mbps), smart TV, complete kitchen, full bathroom, a bedroom and loft both with queen beds, a cozy living room with a real wood fireplace and an outdoor electric barrel sauna. The home is located near many great activities, such as 3 miles from the Willard Munger State trail, 4 miles from the Duluth Traverse bike trails, 3 miles from the Superior Hiking trail, 4 miles from Jay Cooke State Park, and 9 miles from Spirit Mountain. The home is only a short 15-minute drive to the Craft District and Lake Superior.

Beautiful house in the woods!

Upon your arrival to Buffalo Valley you will receive a warm welcome with an escort to your house by the host, in the beautiful north woods. At check in you will receive a key to the cabin. (Please note that the house capacity is 6 guests, no exceptions. We also have a NO pet policy.) There is a guide book that gives you all the information you will need. You will love how remote you are, yet so close to town. Enjoy the fire pit and sauna in the comforts of the wilderness!
