This "farmhouse" style cottage is typical of homestead homes in the area. This is a modest historic home that began as a school house. Kadoka is a safe, quiet ranching community on the edge of the Badlands and I90. You will be 20 miles from the entrance to the Badlands National Park, 35 miles from Wall drug and 90 Miles from the Black Hills & Rapid City. This is a small community ( pop700 ). Late in the day or weekends can be very sleepy, limited amenities, but no traffic! Safe for solo.

Tree House Camping Cabin@ Circle View Guest Ranch

Tree House camping cabin sits on the ranch next to our horse pasture, 6 miles to the Badlands NP headquarters. You can see the Badlands from the cabin door! This simple cabin has 2 queen sized beds (no bedding provided) full bath w/ hot water, soap & towels, walk in shower, AC, mini fridge, microwave, table & fire-pit. Guest favorite, ranch breakfast may be added up at the BNB for an additional fee, served at 7:30am with advance reservations required. All pets must be pre-approved for a $25 fee.

Lakota Outfitters

Located on the eastern side of the Pine Ridge Reservation Enjoy the great outdoors while staying in a seclude home enjoy a campfire outside or take a hunting trip with locally owned Lakota Outfitters enjoy. Enjoy time with family and friends with no cell service or satellite tv to interrupt. 4x4 vehicle must be used to reach location. Near Badlands National Park and Minute Man Missile Historic Site this beautiful cabin was built by our family on our historic ranch. This is a stand alone property with open great room including living room area, dining area, fully furnished kitchen/laundry. There are three bedrooms, 2 baths, AC, TV, outdoor grill, firepit, and large open front porch for relaxing. It is surrounded by a generous fenced yard. Breakfasts, with 24 hour notice, ($$) are available a mile down the road at the B & B.

Kadoka Apartment

This a safe quiet uncluttered space, perfect for short stays in the area. This is a very quiet little town, close enough to I 90 to be a very convenient stop over, but far enough to be quiet. When then air is on, the basement tends to be on the cooler side. In particular when it is hot, the AC works hard to keep the upstairs cool, the good news is an open window will solve the problem! We are located 20 minutes from the Badlands National park, and an hour and 15 minutes east of Rapid City.

One bin features a spiral staircase leading to a queen bed, while the connected bin offers a second bedroom with a queen bed and twin bunk beds. Also a futon and 2 single fold out beds. Comfy Western Style Rustic Tiny Bunk House

Before there were tiny houses, there were bunkhouses. This is a one room cabin style space with the bath providing a partial wall separating the bunks and kitchen. The western touches and wood ceiling in this tiny bunkhouse create a cozy getaway. It is the perfect stop and stay while exploring the Badlands National park . There are 3 campsites next to the bunkhouse, between the bunkhouse and hwy 73. There may be travelers coming thru or local workers as neighbors.

The Badlands Cedar Getaway

Relax with the whole family in this newly built ranch style home. This getaway has no TV or WIFI. It has two bedrooms, one bathroom with laundry, full kitchen and living room. All tastefully decorated in western theme. Come for a couple of nights or relax for a week! There is a Subway restaurant and two small cafes in town for the hungry or take a picnic to the Badlands after shopping at the local grocery store or Dollar General. All businesses close fairly early.

Lena’s house

Located a short drive west of Interior and just 6 miles from the headquarters of Badlands National Park, this 1950’s house sits on a working cattle ranch. It is a peaceful location that provides the opportunity to be away from the noise of fellow travelers while still being very close to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, and also an easy drive to Wall and Rapid City. This house also provides great views of the Prarie and the wide open sky that accompanys it!
