Lovely shepherd’s hut with everything we needed in a compact space. Good wifi and a bluetooth radio which was handy. Small neat campsite with robins and rabbits hopping across the grass. Loved the tiny woodburner outside. Quite a high bed but cosy and very warm.

Lovely location just outside of Douglas. Clean, spacious accommodation with a responsive and helpful host.

We stayed here for nearly 3 months and it was a charming and cosy home-from-home for us and our elderly dog while we awaited some renovation works on our own house. The cottage was well equipped and had everything we needed for a long stay - including an enclosed garden, washing machine and tumble dryer. It’s a really super location - It’s off the main road and quiet, there’s a well-stocked shop/post office, great pub food and safe dog walking paths all close by. We arrived at about 6am but access was easy and we found bread milk etc had been left for us. The owners responded quickly when contacted, were very helpful and friendly.

We would highly recommend staying in this wonderful garden room. Situated in a beautiful location with use of a private garden area. The accommodation was immaculate; also comfy and cosy. Dawn was very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. We would definitely stay again.

At first I thought it was maybe a little pricey, but to be honest it immediately felt like home and the location could not be better. We all loved it, especially our sheepadoodle Toby who enjoyed watching pooches and owners pass by every morning and he enjoyed every minute of playing on the beach, he made a lot of doggy friends and checked his peemails every morning to see who was playing out. We will be returning and Lynsey is the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble and we weren’t rushed out on our last day, which gave us an extra day to enjoy the sun and the facilities. The stay at John’s place at the Lighthouse was wonderful . The view was amazing, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen well supplied along with the bonus of John leaving is bread, milk, fruit, eggs, cheese and crackers . John was very responsive with any of our questions. It was lovely to wake up and see the sunrise and to see the lighthouse shining on our walk back in the evening . Thanks for great stay on the Island of Man.

Ballywillin Farm Cottage is a wonderful place - an oasis of calm, peace and tranquillity (and spectacular views) but with everything anyone could need for a self-catering break! We felt really welcome and 'home from home' in this beautiful cottage. Extremely highly recommended!!
