Nestled on an acre of land, this home offers the ideal up-north escape on one of Northern Michigan’s most family-friendly lakes. Spend mornings fishing for bass just steps from the door, then walk over for a round of golf. Whether you're looking for a weekend escape or a seasonal haven, this chalet offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and Northern MI charm!

Little Yellow Cottage - Little Island Lake -Beach

Fun times to be had at this up-north beach house. Nice island themed cottage on a sandy beach. New 750 square foot deck built this year. Paddleboat, kayak and fish this great little lake or bring your toys. All-Sports lake right by the Sand Lake Trailhead. Two queen size beds, 2 queen size futons, one twin bed and plenty room for sleeping on the breezy back porch. Bonfire pit right on the beach. Kayaks, paddleboat, floaties and many chairs, cornhole boards sand toys all provided. 3 smart TV's.

Beachfront Cabin #3 @ Little Island Lake Resort

Cabin No. 3 at Little Island Lake Resort comes with a stunning view, overlooking Little Island Lake. This cabin sleeps up to 6 people, featuring two bedrooms with full size beds and a queen sleeper sofa. Off the back of the unit, there is a large patio, which includes a picnic table. It also has a fully equipped kitchen and private patio with a charcoal grill. All guests have use of kayaks, standup paddle boards, a 4-seater paddle boat, and fishing gear. Life vests are provided and required.

Cabin 5 is in the center of it all. This waterfront cabin has its own deck overlooking Lake Huron. There is also a futon which can sleep 2 extra people. Shady Shores is conveniently located along Michigan's gorgeous east shoreline along US-23, locally known as the sunrise side. The resort features stunning, unimpeded views of Lake Huron and the eastern horizon. We are located 2 miles south of downtown Oscoda and 12 miles north of downtown Tawas. We have direct access to Lake Huron as well

This location is great for a small family with kids, a retreat for 2 couples, or a romantic getaway for a couple!

The house has an open concept and is equipped with a full kitchen and washer+dryer. We provide games and Smart TV if you choose to relax inside.

The master bedroom features a comfortable queen-sized bed, while the second bedroom comes with a sturdy bunk bed, ideal for kids or additional guests. In the large living area, you’ll find a queen-sized futon. One set of towels will be provided with your stay. We do not have laundry on site, please plan accordingly.
