Sæból is a historic farm in one of the most remote parts of Iceland. Visitors will find a truly authentic experience of life in the Westfjords, past and present. It provides amazing access to the mountains and the sea, and the opportunity to enjoy the remoteness and quiet that make the Westfjords so special. In Sæból lives a friendly sheep farmer known as Bettý (my mother) and she is the last remaining resident of Ingjaldssandur. She also makes beautiful handcrafts that she sells at her house.

NOTE- The second bedroom was a storage space and is without a window. Centerstay is located in the heart of town. We offer a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and a living room with free Wi-fi. Only 3 minutes walking distance to the harbour where the ferry Baldur crosses the Breidafjordur Bay and connects to Flatey on it´s way to the West fjords. Snaefellsjokull National Park and Glacier is apr. 90 km. away. The Library of Water is 5 minutes away. An ATM near by. The place is good for couples and families (with kids).

Restored private home by the Harbour W/ hottub

A fully restored 2 story house built in 1938, right in the center of Stykkisholmur´s beautiful old Town. The house has a great view over the harbour and Breiðafjörður bay. In the back there is a sheltered deck with seating, a barbecue and a large Hot tub. It is a short walking distance from the port, town pool and all of the great restaurants.
