We only ended up staying one night as the weather was not cooperating with our plans. The place was cote and clean and close to the parks we were hoping to visit. Elaine gave lots of local recommendations. Hopefully we will be back sometime.

We enjoyed the tiny home. It felt secure and peaceful. We enjoyed yo stair concept to the bedroom. It felt like we were in a treehouse almost. The skylights and windows are perfectly placed to lend a feeling of privacy and comfort. Speaking of comfort, the bed was amazing!

We had a lovely stay. it's super cute, private, and quiet. we will definitely book again. there are 13 other cabins to chose from. We also enjoyed the town and near by venues. Cool place❣️

Check in was nice and easy. The area was quiet and relaxing. I would rent the nice little cozy cabin again

Ended up being a much shorter stay than expected due to unforeseen circumstances, but the time that was spent here was great. The bed is extremely comfortable, and the RV park itself was beautiful.

Cozy home in a walkable area! I found it comfortable and an easy drive to local parks, like Starved Rock. My RAV4 pulled into the steep drive without issue and local trains weren't disturbing. Would return!

This is a great place to stay especially if you have dogs. Big wide open fenced in yard, cow pasture out back, very quiet the only thing I hear is the cows! Would recommend this place 100 times. Lena and her husband are very welcoming and make you feel at home

Got this place for a weekend away and it paid off. The location is quiet and out of the way and has everything you need. Amber was great at responding and the place was clean and inviting.

Alicia's House was tiny as described and perfectly comfortable. It had everything we needed for an overnight stay. There was a living area, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a comfortable bed. Alicia had extra pillows in the closet for guests. her backyard was large and a perfect walking area for our puppy. We would stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful cabins, peaceful scenery and perfect place to get away! Be prepared! Nothing nearby for miles! Beds a little u comfortable and a steep climb to get to if on the 2nd level which is difficult in the middle of night. Take box fan for noise if ur used to that also coffee! Great place though,could have stayed forever💕

The cutest spot for a “staycation”! My husband and I rented the “Bass Bungalow” for a night to celebrate his birthday. We live about an hour away, so after check in we drove into Galesburg to eat at Craft in the evening, and enjoyed the scenic views in the morning. Such a nice little get way. We definitely look forward to coming again in the summertime!

The perfect little getaway! The surroundings are beautiful. The cabin was exactly what I was looking for. Rustic and clean with everything you need. The cabins have a great view of the lake.

My honey and I are at a loss for words! The 🍯 🐝 cottage was exceptionally perfect for our anniversary celebration. Not only did we reconnect as a couple, we reconnected with our higher power. This sanctuary provided the most beautiful landscape. From the moment that we walked into the cottage, we felt SO LOVED. Although Kacey and Stephanie were complete strangers, we leave with a heart of gratefulness. Every well thought of detail, the cleanliness of the space and words shared with our hosts made the stay one to remember. They gained our trust and we will be back. the 🍯 🐝 Cottage and k&s are now family and part of our story. With a heart full of gratitude, Erika & Alejandro

It’s tough to get pictures to do this place justice, because even my own didn’t capture the beauty of the view from the cabin and the surrounding nature. There’s about 18 cabins that sit up on a hill and look over a large beautiful pond. Each cabin has its own private fire pit with wood included. This may be common sense, but make sure u have everything u even THINK u might need before arriving. The location is EXTREMELY remote and there’s no stores for miles. Uber Eats and Instacart will be out of the question. However, internet & WiFi were strong, and the cabin is stocked with essentials like cookware, lighters, utensils, etc. I went on a solo trip to get some private time away. I was the ONLY person onsite the first day but I felt safe. There was virtually zero noise pollution, only the sounds of gentle nature (such as birds, geese, etc; not anything like loud howling wolves). Overall the place was fantastic. Also, an easy drive from the cook county region.

We will absolutely be back. Our kids loved it. We played games, hiked, worked out outside, cooked over the fire, and watched movies at night. It was such a comfy sleep. Completely what we needed! We will be back this summer!!!

This is the perfect cozy getaway spot! We loved being able to make our breakfast in the kitchen and have the sunshine come in the beautiful big windows.

The tiny was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was safe and peaceful. I would stay again if I come back to this area. Host is responsive and kind.
