This nice, comfortable and relaxing cottage is ideally located in the golden circle in the South coast of Iceland. It's a great location to see the Northern lights /Aurora Borealis if the weather conditions are right. The cottage is one area and has double bed (160x200cm) and a sleeping sofa. We provide linen, towels and soap etc. Our kitchen is fully loaded with everything you need. We have a baby crib and high chair for your children. Sólvangur Icelandic Horse Center - Flaumur 1

Beautiful nice little house (the one to the right) for 2-4 people, with 2 single beds (or double bed) and 1 sofa bed (for 1-2 persons). The house has a kitchenette and bathroom. Sólvangur is a horse-breeding farm in the South Coast of Iceland. You will have wonderful views to nature, horses, sheep, dogs and cats in the surroundings. Stable Café is on sight with light food, cakes and coffee and you could get to know the Icelandic horse by doing a riding lessons or a stable visit.

A beautiful cozy cottage

A beautiful cottage in a big garden of another property. Hveragerdi is a small town and is inside the Golden circle. Supermarket, bakery, tourist info, bank and postoffice are all within walking distance. The famous hot spring (for bathing) in Reykjadalur is a 45 min walk away. The cottage has one bedroom with a queen size bed, one double bed in the living area and one double bed upstairs (airbed). It has a microwave oven and a small stove and all the basic cooking equipments.

Gamla Húsið - The Old Farm-House

Gamla húsið is in Kirkjuferjuhjaleiga horse-farm, located in the south of Iceland, 35km -from Reykjavík in Ölfus and 3min. drive off Route 1. Perfect as either the starting point for an exploration of southern Iceland or as a base since it is close to the Golden Circle and a few hours drive to the glaciers and black sands of the south. Kirkjuferjuhjaleiga is a horse farm, on the banks of the salmon-rich Ölfusá river surrounded by beautiful landscape.

We would like to welcome you to our cozy little cabin. It will give you the perfect opportunity to relax in a romantic and peaceful atmosphere. It is ideal for 1 or 2 persons and the highlight of the stay will most likely be the outside geothermal shower with a mountain view. During the darkest months, can you imagine to take a shower under the Northern lights? Well that is possible! This cabin is not suitable for children and infants.
