Close to Curtis gateway we are perfectly nested in a beautiful country setting with pull in driveway with a large area for parking. Plenty of FREE firewood for the firepit for relaxing around a fire in the evening under the stars. Maple Leaf is centrally located 1 hour or less to U.P. attractions. South Manistique Lake which is 2 miles north of cottage. You can access the trails from the south of cottage 300 feet on a scenic trail in the woods about 2 miles turn left or right to find the trails.

Just 18 miles west of the Mackinac bridge and downtown St. Ignace, 50 min. drive to Soo Locks or Taquamenon Falls.

Enjoy a hot cup of coffee in the morning while enjoying the screened in porch attached to the cabin. There’s a fire pit right out front with firewood available on premise. Relax and destress.

Borgstrom Creek Cabin

Come and enjoy everything the U.P. has to offer. We are conveniently located less than 3.4 miles off of U.S.2, with the cabin set, 1/8 mile off of Borgstrom Road. We have 2 miles of private walking trails on 280 acres of land. A cozy, spacious, and rustic cabin surrounded by State land. You can access with your ATV, from the cabin, the trail. Approx. 1/2 miles away. Lake Michigan & the Garland Zoo are less than 4 miles away. Taquamenon Falls is approximately 51 miles from the cabin.

The Husky Hut-Pet Friendly, Remote, Private.

The Husky Hut is an adorable tiny home located on 10 private acres. It’s located on a well maintained gravel road with plenty of parking. This is perfect if you are looking to “camp” without the hassle of a tent and other equipment. It’s extremely private; there is no light pollution and the stars are magnificent. The cabin sleeps two guests. This is truly off-grid; no power or running water. There is a sled dog kennel nearby so expect to hear the “neighbors” during feeding time!

The Rhubarbary Ruins - with an outdoor sauna

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.
