Astrid was very welcoming and spot on with instructions. There was also quite great response to any questions we had. The place is right outside the town and very accessible by drive, owing to the clear instructions provided. The accommodation is very well equipped and perfect for a short trip to relax and get away towards the countryside but still quite accessible from small towns around and also Utrecht. Quite a lot to do in the area and Astrid was also helpful in giving recommendations with some cycling routes. The place was very welcoming and clean, plenty of light and fresh, also secure. Overall highly recommended, not only this accommodation but also other places Astrid offers on the farmhouse.

mi estancia ha sido lo que yo buscaba. tranquilidad e intimidad, y cuando necesitaba alguna información solo tenía que ver a Astrid y ella me solucionaba todo. muchísimas gracias, si en otra ocasión me acerco por aquí ya se donde venir .

Unterkunft ist so wie beschrieben. Der Check in war flexibel, unkompliziert und sehr freundlich….würde wieder kommen wenn ich in der Gegend bin. Danke für den angenehmen Aufenthalt

Unterkunft ist eine halbe Stunde von Amsterdam entfernt. Der Preis dafür ist sehr gut. War einfach zu finden. Die Kommunikation war auch immer einfach und es wurde immer schnell geantwortet. Checken in und Check out gingen einfach und waren flexibel. Ich würde auf jedenfalls wieder kommen

What a great experience! The hosts, Tamara and Gabriel, are the kindest people I have met and helped me with everything I needed. The room is very clean and beautifully decorated. The location is great. The area is quiet and surrounded by nature, which is very relaxing. I also loved spending time with their Shiba Inu, Kiko. She is very friendly and cute. I feel really lucky to have met them and to have gotten to know a place like Houten. I really recommend this place!

We arrived on a cold wet night, Astrid was there to meet us and the accommodation was warm and welcoming. The area is very rural and peaceful ideal for cycling and walking.
