Perfect location for Acadia if you are looking to be in a rural location around a hour or so drive. Blue hill avoids the hustle and bustle of bar harbor. Daniel’s place has an extended back yard to a pond and the scenery is gorgeous. No issues at the home, everything was great and Daniel reached out several times to ensure all was well. Recommend to all.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The views were lovely, the lake was refreshing, the beds were comfortable, lots of kitchen stuff, and the showers were hot. The house mostly has what you need. It could use a few more dish towels and bath towels. The long drive to Acadia got tiresome.

My husband and I spent our babymoon at Jennifer’s place, and waking up to the stunning lake view each day was just what I needed to unwind. I asked Jennifer if there was cooking oil available, and her mom kindly brought us a bottle of olive oil before our arrival—such a thoughtful gesture! We will definitely stay here again if we're ever in the area.

The house and views are excellent, you can sit on the back deck or outside area and just gaze out at the view, see Bald Eagles fly over every day, even saw one grab a fish from the water. Very clean and well appointed with the essentials like detergents for laundry and dishwasher, garbage bags, slat, pepper and other cooking basics, foil and cling wrap, beach chairs. Overall I can say it is a very nice house, very clean. The location is 20 - 25 minutes from Bar Harbor and maybe 20 min to Acadia. We didn't mind this at all. We ate lobster at 5 different places, if you want the absolute best Lobster rolls go to the Travilin Lobster, there is one in Trenton and one in Bar Harbor, by far the best lobster roll. Oh, and probably as important as the house being very clean, the beds were very comfortable.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Grace’s cottage. The house and property are beautiful and it was stocked with the essentials. Spencer and team were great and extremely responsive to any questions. We had a rainy weekend and spent a lot of time on the enclosed porch. We also recommend visiting John’s Ice Cream Factory down the road for some tasty ice cream!

Our stay at Shipwreck cottage was nothing short of magical. Idyllic setting overlooking the bay, semi-private beach, panoramic views and a bathtub to die for. Everything was spotless and even though we had lots of rain & fog, we were cozy inside and enjoyed the calm, the view and the wildlife around. The host was friendly, communicative and accommodating and provided lots of restaurant suggestions and things to do. Bar Harbor city center is an easy & scenic drive from the cottage- about 20-30 minutes away. Acadia National Park has fantastic hikes- we did Gorham mountain, Otter cliff, Jordan Pond & the hikes around Sand Beach. We were pretty early in the season so some places in town were not open yet, but we preferred the slower vibe. Our highlight of everyday was getting back to the cabin to relax and enjoy the sunset (we did have a few despite the weather!!). Our only regret is that we did not stay longer.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was exactly as described — clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for everything we needed. What really stood out was Tim’s responsiveness; he was incredibly quick to answer any questions and made sure we felt completely taken care of throughout our visit. It made the experience even more seamless and enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

I can't say enough good things about this stay. The house is exactly as described and pictured. The views are beautiful and the location is secluded and quiet. Bonnie is extremely responsive, friendly and flexible. The home is well stocked with almost anything you could need--including a spice rack! I knew we'd be cooking so I packed accordingly and didn't need to...how delightful. The beds are very comfortable as is the entire home. A grocery store and a few restaurants are nearby. This is a good location if you're visiting Maine Maritime or Acadia. One of the best AirBNB experiences that we've had. They've thought of all of your needs and added a special touch with a welcome bakery treat that was quickly enjoyed after a long day of travel. Thank you!
