The sleeping area of the large unit is divided into two so that the queen bed and the second area with another queen bed and single bed have visual privacy but the wall does not go to the ceiling We do not live on the property so this place suits independent travellers who have a car, wanting to spend time on a west coast beach. Only 3 minutes drive to Hokitika township.

Our self contained open plan cabin offers a relaxing escape, with comfy beds, a full kitchen and spacious bathroom. The Cabin is only a short walk away to a secluded beach where mussels can be gathered, or you may be lucky and find a piece of greenstone. Soak in the outdoor hot tub, especially if you have done the Paparoa Track (pick up/drop off can be arranged at a competitive price, please enquire.) This house sits opposite the Tasman Sea with stunning views over the ocean and south to New Zealand's highest peak - Mount Cook. The views are stunning and often with beautiful evening sunsets. It is a 5 minute drive to Greymouth and a 1 km to the start of the Point Elizabeth scenic bush walk. This is a great bush walk mainly sheltered with good native bush cover. The main bedroom has great sea views and an ensuite. Plenty of parking space is available behind the house.

Our "cool little" cabin is a very small, detached, cozy, private bedroom looking out towards the rugged Tasman Sea. You will enjoy your own private space, comfortable queen bed, beautiful sunsets, beach access, free parking and the convenience of a 3 min beach walk to Hokitika town centre. Bathroom facilities are detached from cabin and shared with the guests in our other cabin. Our place is perfect for couples and solo adventurers.
