Tea on a fairy hill guided walk
Where the River Feshie meets the River Spey, there are fascinating stories and histories to be heard. Brimming with tales of gruesome ghosts and fairy hills to the historical links with empire and colonialism, the walk brings together archaeology, folklore, culture, history and storytelling. Come and join a guided walk around Dalnavert to explore this little-known but captivating area. This gentle guided adventure over 2.5-3 hours will include wild tea tasting. Young children are welcome, but this walk may be of more interest to older children and adults (see my other walk which is more suitable for all ages). Other things to note: so sorry but dogs are not allowed on this walk as the route passes through a working sheep farm.

小さな農場を散策しよう(昼食付き)
Join us on our traditional Scottish farm to get a glimpse into crofting life. We are a working croft and aim to give you a real feel of the crofting life, which is unique to the Scottish Highlands. Plan in 2 hours for a guided walk around the animals. While enjoying the stunning views and scenery, learn about crofting and local history, from the Neolithic to the Clearances. There will be plenty of photo opportunities with our 4-legged friends and stunning surroundings. In June/July the sheep will be shorn, so if you would like to try your hand at this traditional crofting chore, Tom, who is a professional shearer, will give you an introduction. The ponies will love being fussed over. We will visit our herd of native cows before feeding and stroking the pigs and the chickens, where you can collect your own eggs if you're lucky, and - depending on whether there are any - the pet lambs will need their bottle, too. We finish our tour with a working sheep dog demonstration to show you our collie Tib in action with the sheep. After that, we'll deserve a hearty homemade soup and bread, followed by fresh scones and shortbread. Feel free to fire away with any questions you have regarding the animals or crofting during our walk or over our cuppa afterwards * If you fancy staying on the Croft: We also have AirB'n'B accommodation available.
動物たちに会いに行こう
We are a small family hobby farm initially set up to become more self sufficient. We have goats for milk, hens for eggs and bees for honey. (We also have pet ponies, pigs, sheep, ducks and rabbits). We started our journey 4 years ago, but still have an awful lot to do. Our experience involves meeting all of our animals in their own environment. You will be accompanied by a member of our family, who will show you round. During your visit you will learn a little bit about each of our animals. We are not experts but happy to share what we have learned so far.
