The farmhouse is 30 yards from the river, and has an enchanting beautiful wind free outdoor lounge area on a jetty connecting you to the river. The architect-designed house mixes inside/outside space with plenty of room for family.. Explore wetland, river and the Langeberg mountains. With plenty of comforts this spot is paradise for children, dogs and a retreat for adults.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful home amongst nature tucked away in the Langeberg Mountain. Enjoy a hike, fishing, 4x4 trail or braai and laze in the river by Cuddly Creek a short walk from the house you will find a plantation of macadamia nut trees. The house is located on Broken Hill Farm 17 km outside Heidelberg W.C. on a gravel road.

Stoepsit @ Melkboom with wood-fire hot tub

Private little cottage in the field away from all the buzz. Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Just 5.5km gravel road. If very wet, you need a Suv or4 x 4 vehicle. All off the grid with no Eskom, no wi-fi, no tv. Only solar for lights, gas for hot water, stove and fridge/freezer. Wood for barbecue and fireplace.
