We have bikes to borrow and can help with any requests.

Surrounded by a three-acre waterhole that attracts a myriad of bird life, our property is a true haven for nature lovers. Join Sally for an early morning bird watch or bird count from the main house verandah, wander the back paddocks, and take in the glorious sunsets. We’re just 8 km from the heritage city of Maryborough, 35 minutes from Hervey Bay, and about an hour and a half from Rainbow Beach. Or simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the peace and quiet (except for some noisy birds).

200m walk to beach

200m walk to quiet beach, beautiful area surrounded by wildlife & 15mn drive into town, 5mn drive to local shops. Public transport is limited so having a car is recommended, bus stop is 200m away. Parking is on the street unless you have a 4WD where you can park on the grass in front of the flat. The property is fully fenced & the front yard fits a jet ski or box trailer. We live in the rear house, family of 4 with school aged children. The flat has its on separate entrance.

Palm View is a 1 bedroom unit. with a private entry. You have your own bathroom, open plan, kitchen, and dining. It comes with ducted air con and ceiling fans. The sliding door leads out onto the private courtyard with outdoor furniture. The magnesium mineral pool feels silky and smooth on your skin and can help ease your aches and pains, a great way to relax and unwind. The pool is a shared space. There is also another outdoor area next to the pool to relax or have a barbeque.

This is a modern, self-contained studio with a comfy Queen bed and a small pull out sofa bed, large smart tv, reverse cycle (cool and heat) air con, WIFI, your own bathroom including a shower, toilet & laundry and fully equipped kitchen. It's an easy 2 blocks stroll to the beach, Beachouse Hotel and Enzo's cafe. Secure parking 1 meter from front door of unit. You won't need a car or taxi to get from the heart of Scarness and beach to the unit.

The Unit is located at the back of the property with a main residence at the front.

Take a stroll across the road for a dip in the beautiful calm waters of the bay or a leisurely walk to the local cafes, restaurants or free water park and playgrounds.
