Tom and Kate are extremely busy professionals, yet they looked after us as if we were old friends. Tom's recommendations led me to discover the loveliest little gems of London. The room was beautiful. One wall was filled with books and I spent many happy hours pottering amidst those. The sun streamed in through the windows and lit up the place. Breakfast was laid out in the kitchen each morning and the hosts asked us to help ourselves to tea and coffee anytime we wanted. The house is full of the most interesting, quirky artwork. Each wall felt like a discovery. I will come again if I could!

Susie was incredibly respknsive and very helpful with local pub recommendations. She added a coffee brewer for we Americans. We enjoyed the conservatory immensely as well as the fireplaces! It was fun to be able to see her mother's successes as a trombone player. It was a peaceful and very safe area which we appreciated. Thanks!!

This was our second stay at Prae's beautiful AirBnB and it was even better than the first time, if that's possible. We travel from British Columbia to visit friends and family in St Albans and having a comfortable home base is paramount. Prae's home is simply lovely, with very close proximity to Verulam Park as well as they ever-yummy offerings of The Waffle House. 15-20 minutes' walking will take you to St Albans town centre, filled with all the shops, restaurants, pubs and cafés you could ever want. On this occasion, our son became unexpectedly ill shortly after arriving and we realised how lucky we were for him to have a cozy bed in a comfortable home while he recovered. If I could give Prae more than five stars, I would. She is the perfect host with an immaculate home, in an ideal setting! She is both friendly and professional, quickly responding whenever needed information and otherwise leaving us to enjoy our holiday. We hope to return! Thank you.

I had a very pleasant stay with Mirjam, Tarkan, and their two cats, Georgie and Indie. Everything was as expected and Mirjam was always eager to help when I had questions. Of course the place is a bit far from the city center but therefore very budget friendly.

Wir haben uns vom ersten Augenblick an bei Margaret wohl gefühlt! Die Unterkunft ist wunderbar, sehr ruhig gelegen und auch der Anschluss zum Metro- und Bussystem ist gut. In der Küche konnten wir nach Herzenslust kochen und es war alles da. Margaret hat uns sogar Frühstück bereit gestellt. Sie ist eine sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin und sehr freundlich. Wir empfehlen, hier einzuchecken und sehr sehr gern kommen wir wieder!

What a novel place to stay at!. The loft style of accommodation was above a distillery and the story that goes with it is fascinating. The accommodation was very warm and welcoming, along with Ian the host. The added extras were above and beyond any other airbnb that we have stayed at. It was an easy 25 minute tube ride into London. It truly was lovely to come back to this accommodation after sightseeing in central London. Thanks Ian for being such a great host. We will definitely be back when next visiting London!

I had a great stay at Mel’s, the location was perfect for shopping/eating out etc. the flat was ideal for what I wanted. The only issue was that it smelt quite Smokey, which then was on all of my clothes & hair. I’m not sure if this was coming from a flat below. A real shame as the flat is perfect apart from the smell

This is a good location in the Town centre. Good road connections and walking distance of station. 2 mins walk from high street for shopping and essentials.

Lovely accommodation and very friendly host. Easy walk down hill into town where there is everything you might need; The Rex (fantastic cinema), great pubs and restaurants, plus a Waitrose for stuff you forgot!

Margaret was a super host responsive friendly and welcoming. even more than. I had expected with some lovely little extras in the room on arrival. highly recommended. will be back very soon.

Cute Annexe in the countryside. very quiet, warm and cosy, and the array of lamps really accentuated this. nice large dining lounge space and comfortable bed. lovely little extras with the local apple juice , butter, bread and milk etc with a nespresso coffee machine. towels are very fluffy and large too. davina was very helpful and her washing up fairy did a magical job.

This Airbnb was very cozy and clean. The space was well laid out and comfortable. We met our hosts on several occasions during our stay. They were a lovely couple. We highly recommend this Airbnb.

sehr schönes Zimmer (mit toller rückenfreundlicher Matratze) in einem wirklichen liebevollen Zuhause. Garten konnte aufgrund der Witterung leider nicht genutzt werden, aber sollte man das Glück haben, hier an ein paar sonnigen Tagen zu verweilen so ist dies sicher nochmal ein echter Gewinn. I had a lovely stay at Kathy's! The bedroom is very cosy and clean and the bed is really comfortable. The house is situated in lovely surroundings with canals and lots of greenery where you can go for walks. Kathy is a very nice and welcoming host. I will definitely come back. My husband and I had such a lovely stay here! The property was super clean with all necessary amenities. The en-suite bathroom was spotless and made such a difference. Melody was an absolute star - friendly, accommodating, and always proactive. You can tell she really cares about her guests. The neighbourhood was peaceful, safe, and just had a really nice calm vibe to it, perfect for a relaxing break. Honestly, we’d love to come back for another stay. It just ticked all the boxes – comfort, cleanliness, and a warm host. Thank you Melody! 😊❤️
