‘Moonshine Cabin’ With Spectacular Lagoon Views

Moonshine cabin, located on the banks of the Klein River Lagoon, Hermanus, is a much loved home, filled with happy memories. The cabin has a spacious open plan living area with WiFi, air conditioner and tv in the lounge. The living area leads out to a deck, with a seating area and braai. The cabin sleeps 6 guests. The main bedroom has a queen sized bed with views and ensuite. The second bedroom has a queen and a single bed. The third bedroom is a single. There is a kayak for guests to use.

A paddle in our double seated kayak is a must when the tide and weather conditions permit. Paddle a short distance across to the island or to the mouth of the lagoon and enjoy a picnic under one of our sun umbrellas. Have a dip in the mix of the fresh lagoon water and the Atlantic Ocean. This delightful house is tucked away in a grove of trees overlooking the Vermont Saltpan,which is a bird sanctuary. Recent solar panels on the roof feed into a battery and inverter system. Loadshedding is no longer an issue. This tastefully furnished, four bedroom home, is fully equipped caters for upto 8 guests. The perfect place to getaway from it. The Saltpan is fed only by rainfall and run-off from the mountains and in years when there has been low rainfall the pan often dries out.
