This sweet and cozy space is just minutes to Cape Split hiking trail and 15 minutes to Canning where you will find all amenities and a lovely local winery! Take only a few steps to the beach for your morning walk or relax on the deck having your morning coffee while listening to the sound of the waves. This is a place to relax and create memories while watching the most breathtaking sunsets with the view of Cape Split.

At East Coast Hideaway, we want you to enjoy nature and the outdoors. The perfect escape from the city but still not far from restaurants and attractions. Reid's Cove Retreat has been crafted as a modern couple's retreat, nestled in beautiful Tatamagouche NS. Take in the special details of this romantic space, including hot tub, massive front windows with an amazing view, and paddle boards to enjoy the water access. Explore the village of Tatamagouche and near by attractions including Fox Harb'r, Brule Point and Northumberland Links Golf courses, Jost Vineyards, Tatamagouche Brewing and Ski Wentworth along with tons of hiking trails.

Private Hot Tub River Retreat

The “Kenzie B” cottage is a newly built cottage with unique features throughout like a sliding steel barn door, a steel shower and old barn beams along the ceiling. The covered veranda off the front of the cottage provides you with stunning views of the tidal river and a private hot tub overlooks the river as well. Swim, boat, float, whatever you wish, the river awaits! We also have a motorized floating picnic table for rent if you'd like to explore the river some more.
