We didn’t even mean to book this Airbnb and Jacob was so kind to let us check in the next day instead. Very beautiful, well taken care of home, 10/10 would recommend and stay again.

We very much enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful and quiet and there was plenty of room for our group of 10 to spread out. The beds were comfortable and the sheets soft. Plenty of fluffy towels. Good, fresh coffee beans. Grilled steaks one night and had a big variety of seasonings to choose from. Grandkids voted it their favorite Airbnb. Mahalo!

I love how the place was decorated of the Star Wars theme. My boys are huge fans of the franchise. The kids had lots of fun seeing all the decor, playing with toys, and adults played the board games. The house was very spacious for a group of 11 of us. The house is cool because the lava burned down the house next door and there are steam vents now in front and all around the property making it look like a land from Star Wars. There was A/C in the home which was great because it can get warm and humid sometimes. There was still hair in the shower in the main bedroom but I think it’s because the hosts maybe live there and it was booked last minute. The host greeted us and showed us the place quickly and they made sure we had everything we needed. The house was pricey but super cool for one night and worth it to see my boys nerd-out for one night and just be in awe with all the cool decor.

We stayed 4 days here with extended family in the smaller home on the same property and it was great. The kitchen was well stocked, there was plenty of space for our family of 5 (larger group was 10 total) to spread out. The best part was the beach across the road with good snorkeling (stronger currents so be careful) and lagoon with turtles. Plenty of outdoor gear to borrow- SUP, kayaks, small boogie boards, water shoes and snorkel/fins. Would definitely stay here again.

Nos encantó la casa , la ubicación era excelente , nos faltó tiempo para disfrutarla , pero si volvemos a Hilo , regresaríamos al mismo lugar seguramente , ampliamente recomendable .

If you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay, it’s here at Kapoho’s Paradise! - totally off-grid and hidden away! Great layout with 3 bedroom en suites downstairs with sliding doors to the outside/pool area. The living, dining, kitchen, half bath and large lanai overlooking the pool and beautiful landscaped yard complete the upstairs. Very spacious and comfortable!! Wayne’s a great host. Very responsive and helpful when needed. Thanks Wayne for sharing Kapoho’s Paradise with us!

Our stay at Sina's place was wonderful. It was more than what we expected. Sina was responsive to our inquiry about lights going dimming off and on, explaining that it was related to the main power line. It wasn't a big deal and appreciated the explanation. We enjoyed the cool breeze throughout the house, well-equiped kitchen, pool and outdoor area to grill and hangout. We had a relaxing stay at your beautiful home. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ginger’s home. Ginger was a very welcoming host. Even though we arrived in the dark in the evening, she kindly gave us a tour of her Airbnb, making sure that we knew where everything was. She also provided a lot of info on what to do on the Hilo side of the island, with marked up maps, and written suggestions as well. Ginger’s Airbnb was fully stocked with everything that you would need, for a comfortable stay. The location out in the country, gave a unique experience for us, as the area has a unique microclimate, at that time of the year. We got regular rain at night, as well in the mornings, followed by sunshine for the day. Definitely a wonderful experience and recommended stay at Ginger’s. Aloha.

Fue magnífico sin dudar toda la casa era cómoda y agradable, no había aire acondicionado pero con las ventanas abiertas y los ventiladores fue más que suficiente, nos encantó poder desayunar viendo al mar y con la brisa en la mañana. El spa fue delicioso y espacioso, sin duda es algo que no se pueden perder! La playa está muy cerca a pie, solamente que es algo complicado de acceder a esta y el oleaje es algo fuerte, pero es una playa linda, de todos modos está muy cerca del parque de volcanes (como a 40min) e igual hay una playa como a 1hr donde pudimos ver tortugas (igual con oleaje algo fuerte) pero muy linda para caminar y disfrutar la brisa. Hay restaurantes como a 20min La zona es súper tranquila y la vegetación es espectacular, sin duda fue un lugar mágico y tranquilo para relajarte por completo y disfrutar de la naturaleza! Aarón fue súper servicial y respondía súper rápido para ayudarnos por cualquier cosa, dándonos sugerencias para las situaciones, estuvo todo magnífico!

We had a wonderful time staying at Kristen's place in Pahoa. She was such a great host. Very quick to respond to our questions and requests, provided great local tips, and an overall great person to get to know. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a home on the east side of the Big Island, either for a few days or for a longer stay. Very comfortable with a big bedroom, fully stocked kitchen, and living room. Jungle living at its finest!

John was a great host! He was super nice and welcoming. The place was clean and nice and spacious. He left us bottled water and made sure we settled in.

Stayed in one of the bungalows for 3 days with my 11yr old. Off-grid made the stay extra special and allowed ample time for us to spend quality time together, discovering all the property has to offer. Robins communications throughout were quick. Loved listening to nighttime wildlife. Location is perfectly located between hot springs and black sand beach. Came here looking for property. This trip reaffirmed my choice. Love. Love. Love.

We had a wonderful stay at Vicky’s place! We loved the beautiful, serene outdoor area, and we had everything we needed inside. We were prepared for the chickens and coqui frogs at night/early morning, as we had been to the big island before, so we brought earplugs and a sound machine and slept great. The location was conveniently located close to the town of Hilo but still far enough out to be peaceful and quiet. We would definitely stay here again!

Simply phenomenal place, so creative and unique! The attention to detail and commitment to the volcano theme were so much fun. Perfect jumping off point for the national park; we were able to easily make it to the park early to beat the crowds and get back and forth for a night hike. Loved falling asleep to the sound of frogs, birds, and rustling leaves. Would absolutely want to stay here again if we return to the island in the future!

We enjoyed our stay. Lots of places to eat close by. James was a terrific host; he was available if we needed anything, and was willing to give advice on things to do and places to eat. He had lots of information available on the island and local attractions.

This place was so amazing :) recommend checking in during the daylight to get acclimated and find the site easily.

Monica’s farmhouse was a nice cozy spot . Large living area , beds in both bedrooms is prime. Great for family’s of 4 . Right next to everything you want to see in Hilo. I will rent again the next time I go back to Hilo .
