It is simply gorgeous when it's sunny but also really cozy when it's cooler or rainy and is absolutely stunning at night!

The complex itself has a lap pool, BBQ and gym. The Dune is perfect for a family getaway, staycation or even as a 'work from home' alternative and what’s more, your furry friend is welcome too!

On street parking available just outside. Ideal for single travellers or couples but no cats or dogs in Koala Beach.

Rene's Cottage: Creekside Paradise. On creek bank.

Peaceful creek and ocean beach access. 200m walk to surf beach. 35 minutes from Tweed Rail Trail. This rail trail is accessible from Burringbar, Mooball or Murwillumbah which are all less than 35 minutes from Rene's Cottage. There are pelicans, herons, osprey and marine animals. Can comfortably accommodate 2 adults. Whale watching June >> November. All cooking equipment, bed linen and towels supplied. Kayaks and crab pots; no extra, but no pets. Check in time 2pm. Check out time is 10am.

Only a 20 minute drive or bus from Gold Coast airport and Tweed City and just over half an hour drive to popular Byron Bay.

We are directly across the street from a beautiful stretch of white sandy beach.
