Tigers’Lair Dorsland Cottage

We offer you a special little cottage, built nearly a century ago, and carefully and lovingly restored. The cottage is close to the main farm buildings of the farm Tiger's Lair, 18 km southeast of Aranos (only 15km gravel road), a remote town in the southeast of Namibia. Great halfway stop to/from Mata Mata. We promise peace and contentment on a working farm, with sheep, goats, cattle and Arabian horses, miles and miles of beautiful red sand dunes and camel thorn trees typical of the Kalahari.

Bush tent

Our Bush tents are our cheaper one-storey option. These tents offer a centrally located sleeping room with two single beds, a terrace with seating, en-suite ablutions and grill site. All equipped with bedlinen and towels. There is no electricity at the tents and campsites. There are no additional cooking facilities, kettles, cooking utensils or crockery. You can preorder breakfast and Grill packs. You can charge your devices at the farmhouse.

Gras Game Lodge

Gras Game Lodge is 230 km South of Windhoek, and 54 km from Kalkrand. Game can be seen here in abundance, freely roaming the savannah and bush. The beautiful main house was built in 1906 by the well-known Mr. Woermann, and is now restored to its former glory, with modern facilities added. Sundowners on the cliffs of the Fish River allows you to reflect on the events and impressions of the day.
