Room 3- 2 single beds and a 3rd added on request & an en-suite. Other in-room facilities include Electric blankets, Fans, Heaters, Hairdryer, Mosquito nets, fully equipped kitchen, and a lounge area with a cozy Fire place. We are situated on a Working Farm that has been in the Family Since 1884. Breeding Thoroughbred Horses (1935) Nguni Cattle, Rubicon Merino Sheep and Indigenous Veldt Goats. Constantia Farmhouse

Constantia Farmhouse is located half way between Cape Town and Johannesburg and offers guests a great half way stop in the silence of the Karoo. The farm house offers 4 comfortably furnished bedrooms that can sleep 14 people. The first room is air-conditioned and furnished with a double bed, 3 single beds and has a baby cot. Rooms 2 and 3 are furnished with 2 single beds, and the fourth room contains a double and 3 single beds, and also has an en-suite bathroom with a shower and a bath.

Inni Kraal Restaurant & Accommodation

Welcome to this family semi open plan spacious unit. This is a well equipped unit with cloud 9 mattresses for a comfortable nights rest. This unit has 1 double bed and 2 single beds. There is air-conditioning in the unit for the summer heat. There is a glass door splitting the single beds from the double, but keep in mind it is a see trough door(Please see in pictures.) On premises parking is available for vehicles, but not suitable for big trailers or caravans, please see pictures .

The Koeistal nestles in Nieu Bethesda in the heart of the Great Karoo, surrounded by vast picturesque mountain ranges. Home to the Owl House Museum. Nieu-Bethesda is ideal for mountain bike enthusiasts, hikers or anyone wanting to enjoy the tranquility of the Karoo. The town’s restaurants are within walking distance from the Koeistal and so are the art galleries and bookstore. Nights under the stars are the best- make sure you count all the shooting stars you’re about to see!

This rustic and romantic cottage is situated adjacent die Waenhuis restaurant, in the heart of Nieu-Bethesda. Surrounded by beautiful views, guests can access a variety of walks, Restaurants, shops and the Owl House from here. Our cottage boasts a typical Karoo style open-plan kitchen, Dover stove, living room, en-suite bathroom with bath and shower, main bedroom with double bed, spare room with two single beds. Entertainment patio overlooking the courtyard and garden.

Come enjoy a getaway at Alphen River Lodge.Situated on the banks of the Orange River it offers a great escape for family and friends . The river and the farm on which it is situated allow for fun outdoor activities . Self-Catering Cottage

Raapfontein is a working sheep farm, 15 km from Hanover offering self catering accommodation and camping facilities The self-catering cottage has one bedroom. The full bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The kitchen and small dining area is perfect for preparing your own meals. Outside is a undercover braai area and undercover parking. Guests can help feed animals and enjoy the beautiful Karoo night sky.

Playwright's House, Nieu-Bethesda

This unpretentious, rustic and secluded Karoo home is where internationally acclaimed playwright and writer Athol Fugard wrote between 1990 and 2017. It's on the peaceful northeastern corner of our quaint village. Crystal-clear Karoo air, intense night skies, crackling winter fires, tranquillity. The cottage draws travellers, explorers, friends & families seeking connection; and it's an inspiring creative space.

Situated adjacent to our home, the cottage has its own entrance and patio overlooking the garden and pastures. The garden is shared with our family, so expect some activity of free-range children and pets!
