Simply furnished and comfortable, you can relax inside the cottage or explore the garden - the patio, the hammock, the fire-pit, or the BBQ, or just sitting in the damson orchard admiring the blossom!

Roachside Cottage is situated in the beautiful Roaches Estate, a former private estate and grouse moor, now owned by the Peak District and cared for by the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust. Beautiful secluded romantic lake house retreat

Located right on the water's edge of Rudyard Lake in a conservation area of the Staffordshire Moorlands, this bespoke boathouse conversion is an ideal romantic break for 2 in a very beautiful, quiet setting surrounded by woodland with perfect views up and down the lake. Although we can accommodate 4 in total, Inglenook boathouse is most suited for couples. The sofa bed is comfortable for up to two children but not suitable for two adults.
