We had the pleasure to stay for the month of August. Great location overlooking a lake, just a short walk to a small quiet beach on the ocean. An old railway track converted to biking/walking path close by. Close to groceries and restaurants. Great location for day trips to Peggy’s cove/Halifax boardwalk/many parks and beaches. The home had everything you need. Just bring your swim trunks and spirit of adventure. We highly recommend a stay at this lovely spot.

Michelle's place was exactly what we expected. It even looked larger in real life vs. photos advertised. we loved the enclosed gazebo the hot tub was located in, the large kitchen table with oodles of seating, open floorplan and the small touches that made it feel aesthetically pleasing and cozy. we will be back sometime in the summer!

We came for the Hunter Moon and fell in love with the sunsets and walking on the beach. Lots of places to explore in the area.

Everything that you could have possibly needed was available. Close to a small little town that had restaurants, grocery store etc. The views in and around the cottage were spectacular

What a beautiful location. The suite had everything we needed and we fell asleep to the sound of the surf. Need to go back and stay longer!

Marvellous start of our 5+ weeks Nova Scotia - Newfoundland tour. Lovely apartment with outstanding view located directly at the beach.

Our family was coming for a wedding- it was a stunning place for us to gather and enjoy - reality- I wish would have been able to stay longer. I highly recommend this place- stunning space and great hosts. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you for everything.

Most of what I'm saying is echoing what other Guests have said - it's all still true for 2024: Morry is great to work with, cottage is clean and well-equipped,  the views here are wonderful, beds are comfy and the layout worked well for us with the two main floor bedrooms on opposite sides.  The kitchen is a good size and the two full bathrooms are like new. There's a great hike trailhead a stone's throw away and, if you haven't already, you will fall in love with Prospect, NS!!

This place was just what we needed for our stay in Halifax. We were within walking distance of local restaurants and a cycle shop where we could rent bikes. The inside was cosy, clean, and really made you feel welcome. Andrea was responsive and a lovely host! Would definitely recommend. :)

My wife, friends and I had a great time in Nova Scotia and Candace's location was perfect for us.

Absolutely perfect is how I would describe Kristine's place. Nestled in an ocean cove, the boathouse is clean, bright and extremely cozy. The woodstove was nice for the cool nights. Amazing views and access to the water. I didn't use the kayaks but I walked the beautiful trail at Graves Island Park which is a one minute drive from the boathouse. Grocery shopping is a few minutes drive to Chester. Easy driving distance to Lunenburg, Bridgewater and South Shore beaches. I let Kristine know ahead of time that I was towing a utility trailer and she made arrangements for me to park it at a nearby property. Thank you Kristine! Great host, great stay, great area. I did not want to leave but I will be back!

Barrie is a wonderful host and the location of this home is truly incredible. We had everything we needed, plus our own island! We hope to be back!

PAM &J.P on été extraordinaires. Nous avons été ravis par notre séjour et sommes tombés en amour avec la Nouvelle-Ecosse. Les animaux étaient un extra inattendus. Gustave va beaucoup s’ennuyer de Maple. Petit commentaire QUI N’EST PAS UNE CRITIQUE. Le réfrigérateur n’est pas très grand alors, ne pas faire une trop grosse épicerie à chaque fois. Nous sommes arrivés avec trop de choses et tout ne rentrait pas. Mais encore une fois ce n’est pas grave. Il y une épicerie pas tres loin. Ça se fait très bien. Faut juste pas prévoir trop longtemps d’avance si vous avez une grosse famille comme la mienne. La piscine est extraordinaire!!!!! Près de pleins de belles plages . Nous avons passé un super beau moment en famille!!!

Literally the best ever Airbnb we've ever stayed at... Brian and Heidi were great hosts, communication was very efficient and extremely helpful, they ensured everything we could possibly need was in place at the house. The house itself was located in a peaceful, beautiful, secluded spot with great outdoor spaces, and indoors is carefully set out with an amazingly stocked kitchen with appliance and utensil thinkable, a comfortable living area with smart TV, lightening quick WiFi, efficient AC/heating and plenty of spaces to sit Both bedrooms feature extremely comfortable beds, masses of storage space, and plenty of books to help pass the time. My only issue is that we can't give this place 6 stars! Thank you again Brian and Heidi for providing such an amazing place to stay for 2 Brits who had the greatest 2 weeks in your home 😄😄

This was an amazing stay! We really enjoyed our time at this location. The suite had a great modern cottage vibe. It’s cozy and comfortable. Although there was no range, they provided and hot plate and air fryer for convenience! That was great for us as we were there for a longer stay, we could prepare meals at home instead. The location was close to bus routes and sunny side mall. Also easy access to Dartmouth road or Bedford hiway! We thank Amit and his family for their wonderful hospitality!

Nous avons passé 10 jours dans le logement de Ryan , c’était très bien. La cuisine est bien équipé et propre . Le lit et literie confortable.L’hôte a très bien répondu à nos demandes. Le logement est très bien situé. Je le recommande fortement , idéal pour visiter la ville d’Halifax à la marche .

Quiet, clean, great location, very comfortable and well equipped. I have stayed multiple times. This is my favourite place to stay when I am in town. The host is very responsive and accommodating. Everything here is great - I will be back.

My stay at this beautiful forest home was incredible. I stayed for 5 weeks. Daniela was so kind, and her brother and his children on a nearby property were very proactive in making sure I felt welcomed and had everything I needed. Daniela was very responsive and helpful anytime I reached out. The space was bright, quiet, peaceful and the house was filled with art and chimes that felt healing and increased my relaxation while I was there. The kitchen was very well stocked. I had everything I needed, easily. The outdoors was incredibly peaceful. Though the property is nearby a highway, it was never impactful. There are beautiful birdsongs, the Rum Runner's trail is right outside the home, and the sky is clear and vivid at night, because there's no light pollution around. The outdoors of the property itself felt magical.

Had a wonderful stay! Our host was incredibly helpful and made everything easy. The units were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It’s just a short drive to downtown, which was super convenient. I highly recommend staying here!

We really enjoyed the apartment, everything was very clean, well stocked and the host was very responsive. The location is excellent for walk ability and access to restaurants, coffee shops and the harbour. We felt very safe in the neighbourhood. It would not be great if you have mobility challenges as it’s on the 3rd floor of a walk-up. Highly recommended!

The accommodation was as described. It was spacious and very well equipped with comfortable dining, seating and bedroom areas. The location was convenient for accessing the highway , the Eastern Shore and Halifax . Grocery, fuel and restaurants were nearby as were walking trails. I would definitely stay again.
