Beautiful home! Spacious and clean, perfect for my group of 5. The plentiful decor was tasteful and living room is cozy with large couch. Location was quiet and private, conveniently near a Bonus, and close to major highways. The space is well stocked: Whether you need laundry related products, extra pasta sauce, quality coffee machine, etc you can find it. Would highly recommend for a cozy stay, truly like a home away from home.

We had a lovely stay. Tinna was very helpful and the place was perfect. Very clean and tidy. Had everything we needed and some additional small touches which we really appreciated. We would highly recommend this apartment.

Great location!! Close and easy to all highways, 20 minutes to city and 20 minutes from KEF airport. Very quiet. The house had plenty of towels and linens and was very clean. This is owner's home, and she rents it out when she is out of town. It had 3 bedrooms and a fourth was a room partitioned off in the back of the large living room. There was also an oversized couch someone could sleep on. Plenty of comfortable and separate sleeping options. Would stay here again. Thanks

Una was an excellent host, she always responded to our communications promptly. Checking in was a breeze no hassles, her instructions were clear and accurate. Location was absolutely perfect close to everything including shops, groceries, restaurants and bars. The house was truly charming cozy and very very clean. It was very comfortable and relaxing staying there. I would definitely consider staying there if I visited Reykjavík again in future.

The place was exactly what we were looking for. Great location close to Blue Lagoon and airport. Beautifull house with modern decorations, very well equipped (bathroom and kitchen especially). We loved the fireplace, the guitar in the living room, sunroom with the backyard view. We could stay there a few more days to enjoy the hot tub in the back yard and to take the walk to the ocean. You can see the ocean at the end of the road. We did not find any restaurants in a walking distance (we were looking for something open after 9pm) and we drove to the restaurants, but overall, the place was perfect for our group of 5.

Great house, very clean and easy to find. Host was extremely quick in replying and helpful. Would recommend as a base if exploring Rekyavik and south Iceland!

What a gorgeous place in a brilliant location. We were greeted by the northern lights as we arrived and the views over Reykjavík are amazing. The house had everything we needed for 9 people including 3 children. The washing machine was very useful and the space to dry all our boots and coats was great after a day of waterfall hunting. Would definitely stay again. Marianne was a great host.

A localização é maravilhosa, a casa e as comodidades simplesmente soberbas, sem duvida local que iremos voltar na próxima visita a Islândia. Durante a nossa estadia sentimo-nos completamente em casa, o conforto, todos os utensílios na cozinha disponíveis, aquecimento central ótimo, enfim recomendamos é só podemos agradecer a Helga por nos proporcionar esta experiência.

Wonderful location and home. Very close to center city, close to restaurant and grocery store. Host was very helpful and everything we needed was available in the home. Bed was very comfortable and the place was much bigger than it seems in the photos. We look forward to coming back and staying here again!

Sergey was super responsive and helpful. We had the absolute best time on our wild trip to Iceland. The Jeep ran perfect, and got us through a whole bunch of river crossings and rough terrain driving on the Icelandic F roads. The mattress and pillows in the back were incredibly comfortable, and we slept like babies. The box of supplies had everything we needed. We had an amazing time. We’ll be back!!

Solid vehicle, super comfortable and warm. A GREAT way to see Iceland if you only have 24hrs! If you are coming from Canada, be prepared for insane gas prices…More than $300 to fill the tank.

Stayed here for 3 weeks to study, so we rented the entire apartment. The location was perfect, lovely parks and an ice rink nearby, and only a short bus ride or 25 minute walk by the sea to downtown reykjavik. Kitchen had everything you would need to cook and clean. Hakon had loads or information left available on tours, bus routes, restaurants etc, that were very helpful. A home away from home.

If you are looking for a comfortable, affordable stay in Reykjavik, this is the place for you. Great amenities including a large back yard, large living space with a Smart TV and playstation, and a fireplace. Kitchen with everything needed to cook for yourself and avoid the pricey Reykjavik Restaurant scene. Located on a quiet street with easy access to the highway (rental car recommended for sure).

Petra’s place is comfortable, clean and full of character. We spend a week in Petra’s apartment in February while exploring Reykjavík and the west of Iceland . Easy parking, close proximity to the shops , 30mins from the airport and 15 mins drive to the centre of the city . Very warm, well organised and very stylish . Highly recommend!

Large 2 bedroom flat with big windows for views over the city. Very spacious. Was a peaceful and quiet location with free parking outside the door. Looks out onto a private grassed garden area. Just 10 minutes walk to a large supermarket. Easy to access from airport road and easy to leave if heading on Golden Circle Tour or to Westfjords. Recommend if you want to sleep well in a quiet area.

Place was nice, better than in pictures in my opinion. We even saw the northern lights! Perfect place to stay near the airport.

Magnea’s apartment was fantastic. Clean, comfortable, warm and very well appointed. The apartment decor is not only comfortable but so cute and thoughtful. I loved all the local touches. And the location can’t be beat!! Right across from the sea with fantastic views. Great for relaxing and watching the world go by, which was my entire agenda. I also found it easy to walk to the small grocery store for food as well as the bus stop to ride into Reykjavik - take the #55 to the #1, and then voila! Magnea was very responsive and helpful - a perfect host. I would definitely stay here again!!

Casa molto calda,comoda hai supermercati e zona molto tranquilla. La posizione e è ottima per intraprendere viaggi fuori reykjavik. A me è piaciuta molto!

Helena's place has been wonderful, really. We walked through Klambatrún Park up to the old town and to the nearby bus station close to the Central Bus station BSI where all the tourist tours started . Helena's apartment was a wonderful starting point for our tours to the eruption site, another one to the lava tunnel, to Sky Lagoon and Hvammsvik. We were able to walk to the museums, the harbour and the shopping streets. Most of all, we were able to relax and regenerate at Helena's place, we slept really well. Her home really is cozy with nice furniture to eat or work at the large table or to chill on the couch. It was also quiet in the house and the neighborhood. Communication with Helena was welcoming, warm, understanding and flexible. Helena is an easy and excellent host! 5 stars for Helena's cozy and beautiful place in Reykjavik. We loved it and highly recommend it and hope to be back soon!
