Both, the place and the host was extremely welcoming. The caretakers, Sahidul and Pinku, are very responsive as well. Had a nice stay, would certainly recommend everyone.

Clean and hygienic place. Pretty neat view of the Brahmaputra river from the balcony. The caretaker's service and hospitality was simply awesome.

Its hard to find a private and peaceful place at Guwhati where you can just relax and enjoy the city. Peony is a Safeheaven for this..Loved the stay and the amenities provided were spot on. Would love to book the place again

It's the perfect place to stay, if you're just visiting Guwahati, or if you happen to have work in one of the famous schools of the area (Sanskriti the Gurukul, DPS, Royal etc.), like i did, which are all walking distance. The hosts, the Malakar family, are just fabulous. Usha manages the Airbnb communications, her son Reshab communicates the instructions and ensures all your arrival needs are taken care of, and husband Pinaki meets guests during their stay on the property. Lovely family to interact with. The place is superb, secluded, spic and span, and the couple of reception folk are sweet and very obliging. Food is good and i would have explored more were i staying longer. Would recommend the place to anyone visiting Guwahati, and i myself look forward to my next stay there...

I had recently stayed in this property for a day and found it really private & spacious. The house is clean and well maintained. The kitchen had necessary utilities for cooking as well. The check-in was smooth and hassle free. It’s a nice plan if you want to spend your time with a couple of friends or your family. The host was very welcoming & cooperative. He even enquired if everything was working fine!
