This classic cottage is in the Golden Circle route, east of Þingvellir lake. The cottage is 28m2, you will have a big terrace where you can relax and cook food on the grill. About 10min walk to Þingvellir lake, where it is allowed to fish. Approx. 35-40min drive to Geysir. The space This is an open space cottage, where the kitchen is well equipped so all you need to bring is your groceries. The bathroom has a shower and a blow dryer. This cottage is suitable for a couple with two 90cmx2m beds.

Cottage in beautiful surroundings close to several of Iceland's popular tourist destinations. The cottage has magnificent views. There are 3 bedrooms and a hot tub that can be enjoyed both summer and winter. It is located on a mountain slope with low forest around it in a peaceful area. Hiking, fishing and swimming are a short distance away. It has all the facilities needed and parking for 2-3 cars about 100 m from the cottage. Since the cottage is on a mountain slope, there is a slight slope.

My place is close to The Golden Circle and the Highlands. The place has picturesque view. You can see Hekla, Eyjafjallajökul, Langjökull through the windows of the cottage. Closed to the cottage is Skálholt church, one of Iceland´s most important historic sites. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, the coziness, the kitchen, the hot tub. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers. Only 2 km to Health service. If you have back problems we have a soft mattress for you.

The Aspen Annex

Take a break and unwind in our peaceful annex, conveniently located for hikes to the Reykjadalur Hot Spring Thermal River, and a wealth of amenities in Hveragerði. The annex has a private entrance, king size bed, ensuite bathroom with shower and basic cooking facilities (added in January 2026). You will also have exclusive use of the garden hot tub, a tranquil escape nestled among the birch and aspen trees. Please note that we have a very friendly dog who you may meet!

Í bústaðnum er gott eúm fyrir 2 fullorðna 180x200. Sjónvarp sem hægt er að horfa á dvd og tengja við flakkara. Í eldhúsinu er borð með 4 stólum og eldavél. Á pallinum er fínt grill og stólar. Stutt er í alla þjónustu, einungis 10 mín akstur á Selfoss. Fallegt umhverfi er við Álftavatn, stutt í Kerið, Gullnahringinn og aðrar náttúruperlur á suðurlandi.
