The Shingle Gully Cottage is located on over 40 acres of privately-owned land bordering Sam’s Point Preserve. The cottage is located on the outskirts of Ellenville NY. The town is situated at the base of the rolling Catskills within the Shawangunk valley. Within the cottage, there is a pellet stove that will be lit on chilly nights upon request. The house was built in 2018. It is very modern and open. It is located 8 minutes from Minnewaska State Park, 10 minutes from the Mohonk Preserve, and 30 minutes from the Catskills. There is a Smart TV. There is also a record player with a large record selection. There is strong WIFI and great cell phone coverage from all carriers. We have an EV level 2 charger. It's an easy bike ride to connect to the vast state-wide rail trail system & all that the Mohonk Preserve has to offer.

A gorgeous, spacious and secluded retreat with a fabulous swimming/skating pond and two wood-burning stoves surrounded by 135 acres of meadow and hiking trails, and a short jaunt to miles of untouched wilderness. This 160-year-old farmhouse is super cozy in winter and can easily accommodate large groups but offers plenty of privacy.
